After a long discussion Amenti and Jon Knight (bassist)  have decided to part ways with each other. Amenti thank Jon for all of his hard work and countless hours put into the band.
'Jon is an extremely energetic performer and very passionate about what he does, whoever follows in his wake will have some very big boots to fill'.
Jon leaves the band on completely amicable terms with total respect from the remaining members of Amenti and a wish it could of worked out better.
His last show with the band will be on the 8th of December 2007 at Freakyfest in Liverpool. As such Amenti will be scouting for a new bassist immediately.
Despite the loss of one of their original members Amenti are feeling positive. With their debut album being released and available in all good record shops as of the 3rd of December, lots of upcoming tours in 2008 and the preliminary work on their sophomore release Amenti are feeling very optimistic!

Looking forward to next Saturday. Sad to hear about the bassist's departure, but I guess I can only say that these things happen. I'm not being baised in any way, because I don't know enough about what happened, and no one else on these forums does, only the bands. People are spending too much time hating bands, and not enough time liking them. Leave the politics to the people involved, and just enjoy the music, k? If you don't like them musically either, then don't talk about them.

hey guys, kudos on the track on terrorizer cd, when i was listening to it i was like, i know this song! didnt realise you were on it!!

guys,this particular part of the forum is for pushing british bands,not attempting to push them off a cliff tho...
if anyone wants to read my posts on this particular matter,they will know that i'm both upset and worried by what happened,but i really think it should be kept elsewhere,rather than on this thread.

tbh - over the past week we have all said our piece on the matter countless times. I understand that some of you are pissed (still) about the situation - i would be too if either the eagles of death metal or rammstein! (in other words - i can see the angle you are coming from).

But as luke suggests - this is not the thread to do it.

Other thread was locked as it couldn't be kept civil - and if any more tit for tat slanging matches kick off on this forum i will issue you with a warning as it is against the code of conduct. Keep doing it and you will soon find that you cant post in a usual manner.
