Amenti (the band) are fronted by our very own Amenti, a long standing and active member of the forum community. Amenti (the band) have gone from strength to strength over the last few years and will be releasing their debut album "Under The Dying Sun" at the end of October, as well as touring in Europe and Australia.

We do wanna hit the south as we've never been able to make it down properly, same with Scotland...
Hopefully we'll be able to change both of these situations later on this year...

Meanwhile the album launch date / gig is gonna be on the 31st October at our local Sugarmill. So if your not doing anything for Halloween then head to the midlands for what is currently shaping up to be one hell of a party!

Oh and PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM PEOPLE. IT'S ONLY £10 (with postage).

Yeah man, it's pretty much our local now, although we haven't played there for along time!
They've helped us out quite alot in the past. As has The Underground (where we're playing on the 7th September with SMP!)

Looks like I shall be seeing you guys on the Destruction/Onslaught tour in November (The Wrexham and London dates to be precise). Must say from what I've heard I'm quite impressed - which makes a change from most support acts I preview. Plus the album covers and website remind me alot of Nile and The End.

Flying update:
- London on Sunday has been cancelled (nothing to do with us, it was a small festival being run up and down the country and the dude running it wasn't making enough money for it to be worthwhile). However the Islington Academy gig on the 8th September is selling well and is still on..

- Hopefully on the 1st/2nd September we shoot our video for the song "Shift The Sands" and with King_Of_Mud (Tim) at the helm, it's shaping up to be a rather surreal experience...
