Worse than BFMV? I distrust your judgement.

I've only heard Buried at Sea but I'm definitely going to check out the new album and see the tour. They sound ace.

Seen them about 4 times including once at download. They always seem to be support for bands  I see like skindred, sikth etc. Good band I can see them getting popular. Not megastar big but bigger.

Download 2005 - SOAD day

Download 2011 - Blue Camp
Download 2012 - White Camp

Himsa were imense too, what a performance. The lead singer at one point walked off the stage onto the barrier and then started walking on top of people far out into the crowd, never seen anything like it, was insane.

Darkest Hour unfortunately were the biggest disappointment of the night, in spite of a lot of hype. I wouldn't waste my time seeing them again, even if tickets were free. They were that bad.

As for As I Lay Dying, it was very hard to watch them thanks to the very powerful strobe lights they had on continually throughout their entire set.

I didn't take note of them, sorry.

I hope their Architects do a headline tour sometime in the near future, maybe after their next album when they have enough material for a full set.

No worries :)

Arcitects is gonna be 90% ruin material + into the desert and nightmares from their first ep i reckon. And AILD will be like 60% 'an ocean between us' material with all the classics such as 94 hours, confined, forever and through struggle whacked in

I'm really glad they're touring again in November as there was a massive queue outside the manc gig last week and I missed them. Darkest Hour were easily the best band out of the other 3.

I'm loving Ruin at the moment, haven't been this impressed with a UK band for a while.

a great UK band. Im suprised all the 'hardcore' 14 year olds round here havnt claimed architects to be their little baby...but from who ive spoken to...they think architects are crap. Ive only heard Buried At Sea and a couple others...and i think theyre fantastic! Will have to check out the album.

The trouble is, because the Architects keep supporting bands like As I Lay Dying and Bring Me The Horizon, these emo kids are bound to latch onto them soon enough.

yeah your right...but i think theyll go beyond AILD and BMTH (neither of which i rate as good bands) because they are, as stated earlier, 'organised chaos'...and im sure theyll start playing with mans like dillenger etc...hopefully bringing them to their suited audience.

Saw them last night in manchester, loved it. Watching bands in Satan's Hollow is ace, just because the drummers are so visible.

DSHS were damn impressive too, I had to buy their CD

They're ridiculously good, and ridiculously good live. Seen em twice now, at AILD and on their headlining tour in London, but unfortunately had to miss them at DL for Machine Head. I also met the guitarist Tom and he was a proper sound dude. Gave me guitar advice :) At Mean Fiddler they got cut short, so didn't get to play the song they were gonna end with, 'The Darkest Tomb'. It's on their myspace and definately worth a listen, probably my favourite

Saw them yesterday supporting Bring Me The Horizon and I wasn't impressed with them at all. It was almost like I was watching a different band to the band that was supporting As I Lay Dying. I don't know what was wrong with them, they just didn't seem the same at all. Very disappointed, especially as I absolutely loved them when I saw them with As I Lay Dying a few months ago.
