I'm a natural redhead, and last year i used one of the bright Live color dyes,in RedPassion, it looked great, but its been a nightmare since, i want to get back to a natural looking red, the peeps at my college have started striping and toneing it, but i've a few sittings to go before its close to what it was, only thing is its very dry & brittle just now, anyone got an good advice on how to improve the condition, i've tried lots of conditioners, but nothings really working, i can almost sit on my hair, i'd be gutted if i had to cut it all off.

Have you tried the Aussie Mega Conditioner - ive found that to be the best even when others dont seem to be doing much.

Ebay is the best place I think, The ones I've seen are more internal re-chargeable batteries than actual (say Duracell) ones. But still, some can last upto a good few hours which is better than nothing :)

I bought a set off of amazon for last years festival, came with 2 rechargeable batteries and after a full charge on each battery they lasted the whole weekend. The link no longer works on amazon so i cannot post it but they were called 'hair angel cordless recharegable straighteners'. Im sure anything similar would be just as good, make sure they heat up to a decent temperature.

I've decided I prefer falls for festivals. If you have them braided in they're less hassle as you dont have to put them in every morning. But if you have falls you can take them out when you go to bed making sleeping a lot more comfortable, and it only takes about 10 minutes tops to put them back in in the morning.

I went with synth dreads last year and i ended up with sunburn on my scalp between the dreads which was so not nice!
I really dunno what to do for this year coz I'm definately not going for the hair down thing again! 2008 I came home with one big dusty dread that took about 3/4 conditionings to get the knots to a brushable level :S
                      Any suggestions?

                          Hi all.
I currently make my own wool falls but have looked at making synthetics and im worried due to a skin condition this could be irritating and could waste alot of money. Im not wanting to dread them in, just plait them. Im bit worried of them falling out of my hair and not covering the skin condition.
Ive seen people make the "Wig synthetics" but never seen them at a decent price or length. Any ideas or alternatives? The wool i use is perfect size but NOT waterproof.

i got a set of wool falls off of ebay in 08.. wore them to download and they were brill!
as u can see in my display pic!
didnt wear them last year tho as my hair colour didnt exactly match them lol.. im funny about things like that lol.. but al get my hair to that colour this year and al have the hassle free hairdo!
i recommend them... means u can take them out and sleep... and give ur hair a rest... i can imagine it being a bit uncomfy having them in for 5 days straight!

I would LOVE to have my hair like this for any festival but its so long; 1. I don't think I'd have the energy OR the money to make enough for my whole head and 2. There is no-one I know who loves me enough to install them considering how long it take.
I may also look like a fool

                                  i think you'd suit them!
u could just buy falls instead... if they dont suit... u havent wasted loads of time and money... and just sell them on!

For those of you with dark hair who don't like using dry shampoo due to it making your hair look grey, batiste now do a coloured version! I believe it now comes in Black and Brown, saw it in superdrug the other day.

Don't know if that helps anyone at all but thought i'd give it a mention!
