Profane's unique brand of Progressive-Metal refuses to be pigeonholed by the music media; seamlessly blending intricate jazz melodies with ferocious, technical playing. Having already made clear their intentions with a stellar live performance on Radio One's Rock Show, Profane are here to turn the metal world on it's head.
2007 saw the band appearing in Metal Hammer's 'incoming' section, and Rocksounds 'Exposure', and ended on a high with features in Kerrang's 'Introducing' section, Big Cheese and Rocksound, and dates with Will Haven and Enter Shikari.
The Band are currently writing the follow up to the Debut album which will continue to further explore the diversity and capabilities of this incredible band.

easy all! glad your into the album!!! We have just finished demoin 3 new tunes for some labels - think we are gonna preview them on our street team page so if you want a sneaky listen of the way we are going join up! We are looking for shows at the moment so if you want us back in Wolves we would love to come play! you can hit up our management @ hostilemanagement@mac.com Played KBY ROCKS in camden on Sunday night - all of the power on the right hand side of the stage went in the middle of the first song - would you ****ing believe it?!? That **** doesnt do you pedals and favours and Doy uses a rack which reset itself - for those of you who know us and the amount of pedals on stage that equals a proper **** storm - but what can you do?! Think we turned it around in the end! Thanks to all that came! We have a fair amount of stuff in the pipeline at the moment so I will try and keep this thread updated but you can also check the myspace or website! rock it on people [:'(]

there is a very strong possibility that we will be over again soon - we have had a load of **** to do recently - not least finish writing our second album (which we are still doing). But as we speak our year is filling up with shows and we will be announcing them SOON!!!

Hey Wookie The Civic Bar is the Bar to the Civic hall (350 cap) its a great venue good sound ( DKL ,devildriver play there )and and you get to use the green room for the Civic Hall which means leather sofas and a big TV Im looking forward very much to this show
