    Lo, joe.
I'd say Anime had it's golden age in the late 80s/early 90s. Thus it's hard to stay interested in it any more.
I recommend the Ghibli moves 'The Cat Returns' and 'Pom Poko'. They are the only amine I have enjoyed in rescent years.

hey Hex, been a long time since I was last on here, so much going on these days
I dunno I think the last decade has been the best, most especially aesthetically but yeah, storyline wise, there seems to be a slump

        Lo.
Amine seems more like Disney today.
I didn't feel like paying for any animé this last decade, aside from the 10th year anniversary addition of Ninja Scroll that it. =]
Shows like Fist of the North Star, Violence Jack and Lupin were all innovative, they raised the bar in fact, went beyond the limited at a time when you didn't rely on computers to over polish, fix all your error, and do most of the work, animé just don't feel as exciting as it once did.

Never read it, though I never missed an episode of the animated show. The movies sucked a flaky dry T-Rex nut sack; has to be said.

No, you're right. The Movies were ridiculous.

Guyver's the only anime I've ever been into. Loved the cartoon, both old and new styles

I haven't really been following to many anime (one piece excluded).

I did stumble on something that caught my eye though.

Not that you asked, but I'm unsure what to recommend you. You may enjoy the Patlabor series/movies.

Hay guise, I updated the main post, much more spiffy nows!

Hmm, as for my animes though I haven't really been watching many apart from the main popular ones, Bleach, OP and Narutard.

Narutard is only watched when there's nothing else though because it's just fillers, fillers, fillers, moar fillers. D:

I did watch Deadman Wonderland though and I have to say, wow, what a load of shíte.
The plot didn't make sense and it wasn't believable enough, the only thing I enjoyed about it was that it looked pretty but even then there were some mistakes. ¬_¬

I need a new bloody + gore/murderish series like Higurashi, first time I watched that I cringed soooo bad.

                      Nicey update!

I swear I was so looking forward to Deadman Wonderland I couldn't even get past three eps without binning it. You should watch Mirai Nikki, it's fair share of blood (if that's the only requirement for you), fairly interesting plot too.

Can we please have more people using this thread. Kthanks ;]

                        Oooh yeah! Mirai Mondays! *jigs*

Um, though, I wouldn't mind putting Yuiki in a car and then putting said car in a car crusher. I hate how they make him such an unbearably bad, bad, bad mard arse. (It's a lot like what's his name from DeadmanWL). D: Then they have this pro little girl character like Yuno that just goes around chopping people's limb's off with an axe who also hoards corpses in her house which I suppose makes up for it. :D
The eye stabbing in the start actually made me cringe, though Higurashi when Rika stabs herself in the head a bunch of times made me cringe more and I think those are the only 2 times I've ever cringed over an animated series. Was pretty good tbf. >_>

I really like the opening though, it's pretties.
                        http://youtu.be/t3nUxQSBl-Q
As for Deadman Wonderland it just wasn't believable at all and in a lot of parts didn't even make sense, I watched the entire thing. ¬_¬
I did end up watching 07 Ghost as well, which was kinda nice but dragged on a bit... Oh, and Scrapped Princess which I was all BAAAAW-ing at.

Also Defected, you probably already know about it but if you haven't done give Fairy Tale a watch, it's actually quite alright, similar to One Piece a bit. Considering re-watching it all because I rushed it a lot. >_<

And yeah, I think all the other wapanese deserted this board, time to convert some close minded people me thinks? *gets electric chair & pack of nails ready*

Not so much anime, but finally just finished watching the live action Deathnote 1 + 2. Don't think it gave the anime as much justice as it deserved. (though i was delighted to see the same actor from battle royale playing Light)
