Aye, I can see the HB version becoming very valuable in a few years time. Well worth stocking up on it if you have cash to burn

We went to the urbis shop in Manchester yesterday, they have so much nice anime / manga merch, it's soooooo dear though, you could get it cheaper online. x_x They were selling 'The Monster Book of Manga' I already have one and it was like £20, I got mine for like 9 quid rofl. I should put some links in the first post for some good merchandise sites now I think about it. oO Hm, anyone been watching any anime lately? I'm on the hunt for something funny and newish.

thats kinda rubbish but cool that theres a shop like that, theres feck all around here, except for a couple of over-priced comic book shops filled with american tat still not watched anything in ages, started reading Ikigami yesterday though, might be a bit too dark for me but still i'll wait until ive finished the first volume before i pass judgement

My favorite Manga store in London is being converted into a T-Mobile phone shop. I'd become good friends with the owner so I use to get everything at discount. No fair! I was thinking once I've saved up enough money from my current job I could look into openning a manga cafe/merchandise shop with a couple of my friends. Then I can quit my job and read manga all day ^^

Btw, You should all read a MANLY manga like Yotsuba&! mm, monster book of manga is like a tutorial book which teaches you how to draw stuff and do it in Photoshop, not an actual manga lol. I know about all of the shops around town too, even Magma do some manga stuff. [8D] Might get one of those pixel posters from there actually. @Defected Monkey, if you open a shop like that you'd be competing with quite a bit, especially if you done it in London. I'd say do it somewhere where they don't have much anime / manga shops but do the cosplay events, maybe. I'd also come visit if you sell milkshakes like they do at download. @joos_noose, You're probably better off shopping online for stuff anyway, especially ebay, I got so much cheap shiz from there. ^_^

YOU! you pour cold water on my dream!!! [8D] Actually I've done my "market analysis" and there are only three well established Manga traders in London and there selections are poor because they run through the exact same vendors. The annual profit margins for two of those stores are fairly high because of their location in central London. Plus I have a friend who already owns a manga store so its not like i'll be diving into it head first. FYI Cosplaying will be made manadatory for staff

I walked into tokyo toys in the trocodero once not realising there was a famous cosplayer coming later that day. All around the entrance and in the store were cosplayers. That was pretty cool

Ahh yes I was talking to its owner the other day and apparently they are also being force to relocate. Worse comes to worse they shut down the store all together. Such a shame too, the owners such a nice guy.

D; only manga i read is Naruto and Shaman King. Naruto's got gash as of late, whereas Shaman King is getting steadily more awesome with every chapter <3
