Seems like years since I've posted in here, haven't got the internet at my house, so I only get a breif online appearance every weekend. I went to the QPR game midweek, would've let you know Dave but I've got a new number as of a couple of weeks ago and didn't have thy internet. Pretty good performance for my return to Villa Park though, promising if anything. Looked sharp and created a lot of chances. The only glaring negative was, of course, our defence. How we managed to be 2-0 down is beyond me.
And our mate Warnock was in inspired form.
Just a couple of things. I genuinely think we can get a win tomorrow at Newcastle, and Stevie Ireland will be at the centre of it. I'm so happy he's showing his previous form, I was so excited when we signed him, and had faith he'd come good for so, so long. Just as that faith started to wain he's come through, and I'm delighted. Hopefully he'll be here for a long time, and the only way is up for the lad.
Also, Bent. You star. Similar with Stevie really, just as I began to lose faith, he's turned it around. Hoping the same for Warnock, but I feel that'd be a step to far though.
While I'm here, may as well write an essay. Just been looking at our fixtures, and although I think we can win, a loss tomorrow and a loss next week to Man City will really not be a problem. It's the following weeks after that where we will make or break our season;
Wigan (A)
Blackburn (A)
Fulham (H)
Bolton (H)
Not saying we WILL, but we CAN and arguably should beat all of those teams. Worst case scenario we should at least take 6 or 7 points, and that'd pretty much see us safe. And then we can look up!
Well, this was fun. Reply, or not, as you will and I shall be back to reflect on our win at Newcastle tomorrow, next weekend. UTV.
