The Amazing Spider-Man - 8/10
Really good film, exceeded my expectations of it, which is great considering I think Garfield and Stone are both excellent actors. Didn't know Sheen or Leary were in it which was a bonus and we get the good Ifans performance for a change! There weren't any massive jumps, nor many laughs, but the characters were very well conceived and the story did everything right. It is a Spiderman origin though, so it does hit some hackneyed beats and well-trodden paths, but the tone is perfect throughout.
