Logan are... Kenny Collins (vocals) Al Reilly (guitar) Mick Coll (guitar & vocals) Steve Reilly (bass) Iain Stratton (drums) http://www.myspace.com/loganmusic http://www.logan-net.com/ HELP LOGAN GET TO VEGAS!!! Formed in 2003, Logan are a five piece hard rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Their self funded debut album First Leaf Fallen was released in 2003 and followed this up with Welcome To The Wasteland a year later, building an impressive UK fan base and selling in excess of 8000 copies. In 2005 they secured high profile support slots with Alter Bridge, which helped them to become one of the most talked about independent bands in the UK. In June 2006 they released their first single When I Get Down which debuted at No.12 on the Official UK Rock Chart and proceeded to stay in the chart for seven weeks – a feat never before achieved by an unsigned band.September 2006 saw the release of their third album Cruel Little World and their second single Hallowed Ground followed, again breaking into the UK Rock Chart Top Twenty, the only unsigned band to have achieved this incredible feat. 2007 saw the band win awards at The UK Glasswerks Awards for New Music and a nomination as ones to watch in 2008 by the UK's leading rock magazine Classic Rock and an inclusion on the accompanying cover mount cd. 2008 was a great year for Logan. Airplay of the single "Lost & Found" won the band a support slot with Bon Jovi at Hampden Park in front of 40000 and the subsequent 8 date UK headline tour pushed sales of Cruel Little World to sell out status. The band headed to LA in October to record two videos and play a showcase at the world famous Roxy Theatre on Sunset Strip On their return, a new pressing of Cruel Little World with three additional tracks and new packaging was released to coincide with a 24 date European tour in support of Alter Bridge, which was a great success. The tour saw the band conquer new audiences in 11 countries and set them up nicely for 2009. The year started with a bang seeing the band pick up the "Best New Music Artist" prize at the Scottish Variety Awards in February. Meanwhile the band has been busy in the studio putting together demos for the next album due later this year and roadtesting some of these on the road in their current UK tour. Logan also recently conquered the 4th stage at this years Download Festival and provided support for Thunder. "By the time the band play the catchy ‘When I Get Down’ and the hypnotic, riff-fuelled ‘Hallowed Ground’, even those few uninitiated members of the crowd are carried along by the power of the band’s anthemic, stadium-filling sound." -Classic Rock Magazine "Their sound might lead many to mistake them for a US band - think the big riffs and anthemic melodies of Creed and Shinedown. The band are at their best on songs such as Lost and Found, and if Logan are taken on by a US label and producer, they could go a long way. " -Guitarist Magazine "if anyone still doubted their potential then set finale “When I Get Down” should have convinced them otherwise; what other unsigned band can have a room as big as the Civic Hall singing every word? Logan do, and it is one hell of a sight!" -Birmingham Live "We filed into the Red Bull tent for some emotional heroics from Logan. These guys are truly exceptional. They're tight, their energy is infectious, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them headlining the bill on one of the show stages in years to come." -This is Nottingham.co.uk

They said a few things, can't remember at the moment. But the main thing was: "One ****ing K? Well you can tell them theirs one K in Sook Ma Boaby" Or something along those lines. Their might be a video of it, and there is a video of something similar in Manchester. Edit: Heres the one from Manchester http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpHYHKu3e_E

I've only heard a couple of their songs and loved them, and really wanted to see them at Download, but they clashed with other bands I wanted to see... I'll see them sometime though [8D] not listened to Rock Radio in ages, but when i did, Logan got loads of airplay and that's how I discovered them

Good choices . I listened to the whole of Cruel Little World last night but still can't decide. Shall have a ponder, do like the new song "Rock & Roll Way" though.

I saw Logan a couple of weeks before Download, headlining in Bristol, fucking great gig! Strange, at 24 I think I was the youngest person in there. Place wasn't packed by any stretch of the immagination but there was definately a large contingent of crusty old fossil rockers in attendance. And Hallowed Ground and When I Get Down as an encore was stonking.
