Pearl Jam-02 Arena Fan boy alert! 10/10 Hands down the best gig I've ever been to. Only thing that could have improved it is if they played Sleight fo Hand.

Eastpark Tour 7/10 Firstly, it was the first time i'de been to the Leeds Met Uni and probably my last, absolutley shitfest of a venue which didn't help at all, first on where The Ghost of a Thousand (7/10) wasn't the best i'de seen them but still put on a good perfomance despite the poor sound, which goes for Four Year Strong (6/10) as well, who's set started pretty poorly but as the set went along, they started to sound much better but sound put a downer on the set. Next up where Anti-Flag (4/10), i didn't stick around much for there set but from what did watch, they sounded boring and rather uninteresting. And finally came Alexisonfire (8/10) definatley one of the most consistent band's i've seen and were on form again tonight despite the rather parp sound.

Misery Signals - 7/10. Everything was great other than Your Demise, they were absolutely terrible.

Enter Shikari - last night at Liverpool O2 Academy 10/10 Support band Devil Wears Prada were really good; by the time ES came on the place was like a sauna. ES were amazing, never seen them before. Excellant light show and the sound was spot on - especially the bass for those dub step parts. People of all ages there to see ES's last gig of the tour. In Lime Street station afterwards I was asked by some girls if it was raining outside because loads of people looked wet - "no, it's not raining, we're just drenched in sweat after seeing Enter Shikari!"

Chimaira @ Electric Ballroom. 9/10. Would have been a 10 if they had their proper rhythm guitarist. Almost topped the Astoria show from 2005.

Bring Me The Horizon - 5/10, only because they played Pray For Plagues so I got a wee singalong, lack of old material ruined it for me. A Day To Remember were pretty good, 7/10. August Burns Red, caught a song or two of their set, pretty alright 6/10. Just well wasn't in the mood for that gig, probably would've enjoyed it mare if I hadn't been so tired.

Skindred @ Wulfrun, 10th October. 9.5/10 Everything was perfect except for the fact the setlist didn't have a couple of my favourite songs, but they did replace it will a couple of new songs I hadn't heard before, so I'll let them off.

Porcupine Tree 10/09/09 at the Colston Hall. I'll give the gig 8/10. As much as it was awesome that they played the entirity of The Incident live in the first half, I was slightly disappointed with the second half, as they didn't play any songs from before the In Absentia album.. I suppose my disappointment was partly due to hearing Steven Wilson on Planet Rock saying that they'd be breaking out some tracks that they hadn't played for years, so I automatically assumed they'd be blasting out some right oldies but goldies from the mid 90's. But musically they were flawless, as usual, and still remain my favourite band live.

Enter Shikari @ London Roundhouse 10/10 Absolutley immense show, sound was great and there was a great atmosphere in the venue. The Devil Wears Prada were great as well. Seeing em headline the Relentless Garage tonight

Senser - Manchester Roadhouse - last Saturday 6/10 It was good to see the place packed and bouncing along, and great seeing Senser again after so many years, but the set was overly focussed on the new album, which wasn't released until Monday. I'll never get tired of listening to the classics from Stacked Up like Age of Panic and Eject (which they played), but there was nothing from Asylum or Schematic. Also, the guitar sound was a bit muddy where I was standing. If it was this weekend and I was familiar with the new album, it would have been a lot better.

Biffy Clryo @ The Forum 20/10 8/10 Biffy have always been such a consistantly good live band, and I'm so obsessed with them that I just get a little lost in a different world every time I go to see them. Played plenty of new material which was good as it was nice to hear some of the new songs before the album come out. The only thing stopping it being 10/10 was, as I said in the Biffy thread, that the rest of the set was made up of a few Blackened Sky songs and the rest were from Puzzle. Now I know that album got a lot of new people into them and had made them massive, but doesn't mean that they have to ignore their best two albums. I bloody love Infinity Land, and expected to at least hear Glitter & Trauma, so I was a little disappointed.
