Never Let Me Go I liked it, loved the ideas and settings, but it seemed to focus on answering questions about the world rather than on the relationships towards the end when the characters are very much the driving force of the book. So it loses it's way a bit. 7/10
RIP Joe "You say the hill's too steep to climb.

Clash of Kings and Storm of Swords are the best in the series IMO. They're when shit really kicks off, but before the world gets just a bit too big and sprawling for me (AFoC, ADoD) Just finished reading the Deepgate Codex trilogy (Scar Night/Iron Angel/God of Clocks) - would give the trilogy a 6.5/10 overall. Started off brilliantly with Scar Night, but lost it's way a bit by the third one. Still, brilliant characters and some great dialogue save it

9/10 The Snowman - Joe Nesbo. Pretty much up there with the 1st 2 Stig Larssons, plenty of twists and turns. Currently on Worth Dying For - Lee Child, its a slow start but I'm sticking with it for now.

The Bear Clash of Kings and Storm of Swords are the best in the series IMO. They're when **** really kicks off, but before the world gets just a bit too big and sprawling for me (AFoC, ADoD) Yeah sh it did hit the fan (again) In a lot of places so I can only expect more war.Dunno where it's gonna go with Stannis with him blatently not being Azor Ahai. Storm of Swords : Blood and Gold - 9/10

Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy - 8/10 Very good characters, a brilliantly inventive and original take on magic users, great overall plot. The first was comfortably the best, but really enjoyed the other two and the way they managed to change your perceptions of certain characters. The ending was a bit odd and too "ooo, mystical" for me, but otherwise a brilliant trilogy. And there's a fourth one coming out soon

Dean Koontz: Watchers - 10/10 First book I've read of his, and really enjoyed. Each time I picked it up to carry on reading, I didn't want to put it down.

Ham on Rye-Charles Bukowski What a dick. Really felt sorry for him at points. Crappy circumstances and all that. 8.5/10

A Dance With Dragons - Its not a bad book but I have to say it wasn't the best. For its size and the previous book to it I thought more would go on but like the previous it seemed to be just building up the story to the inevitable wars that were gonna take place but didn't.Shit should really hit the fan next book. Oh and I nearly threw the book at one point..fucking George RR Martin, the prick.

Halfway to the Grave (Jeaniene Frost) - For a vampire book i found it quite enjoyable. I expected alot less tbh. Its definitely an adults book with quite alot of rude bits, but overall i really liked it. Will be buying the rest of the series now.
