ORIGINAL: rocksmart.co.uk ORIGINAL: terminator ozzy doin 80% of his show reading a autocue. You have Brian Johnson and his autocue to look forward to then [:'(] Having seen AC/DC within the last 12 months Johnson wasnt using an autocue then so why would he do so at Download?

I suspect he did have an autocue onstage. They're normally tucked down by the stage monitors. Using an auto cue to remind you of a line > forgetting the words and looking a tit Most bands that have a large back catalogue use them.

I know this due to the amount of times Hetfield sings the wrong verse in Fade to black! [8D]

Surely it has to 1988, Guns & Roses were ridiculously far down the bill, they let far too many people in, there was a crowd surge during their set and two people died in the crush. I'd say that just about tops it?

Even now people still can't get it into their head that they did the best they could with what they had. The forums around when it was announced were awful - no-one acvtually wanted to listen to reason - they just wanted to have a go!

Many of the most memorable 'uproar' moments for me were in '06: -Axl Rose and Tommy Stinson spitting their dummy's out during GN'Rs set -The riots on the final night -The longdrop toilets, and that deathly smell that arose as the morning sun started to beam down on its sinister presence (...although I do kinda miss those badboys, if not just for novelty's sake!) And in 2007, the pre-headliner bottle fights in the crowd was immense! Especially during MCRs set when they were all aimed at the band...happy times

Having just read the other thread maybe the "TCV were going to be the headliner before we got AC/DC" should be added to the list [8D]

Not the MCR deal itself but the laughable to borderline pathetic 'metal vs emo war' that was threatened which resulted in everyone of the 'metul' side being thoroughly laughed at for a good 3 months on either side of the event. Good times. Hell I still laugh now whenever someone else attempts to start it up again.
