EDIT: Can't get ninja text to work...perhaps we should start a thread in Art & Literature for the books, because of spoilers and that?

I've been loving watching the breakdowns for the visual effects, it's great inspiration and looks bloody amazing. I guess it just proves that the line between TV and film is bluring even more.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkptadiDABo

Enjoying the books. But I fear the budget of the next season will fall short and some good moments (battles) will be left out like in Game Of Thrones. Davos is probably one of the better characters at the moment.

SquirrelsOfWar samuelthevest Nope, it has, and will always be about Bronn! I dunno Bronn was cool at first but now he seems a bit samey, hoping he'll turn more deceitful when/if tides turn.It would be interesting to see him keep his reputation as a sellsword by turning on the lannisters for a more prominant force.

Only just found out that Cassie from the first two series of Skins has been cast as Gilly for season two. She was one of the most entertaining characters in Skins so I'm very happy to hear this.

Someone else from British telly. Some redhead who was in Downtown Abbey is going to be in season two as well apparently. I'm going to see what the odds are for the Scottish fella from Fresh Meat being cast for season three.

WarBastardGoesNorth Someone else from British telly. Moist of the cast seem to be British, it's great. King Robert Baratheon, Caitlyn Stark, Ned Stark, Cersei Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, Jorah Mormont, Littlefinger, Visery's Targaryen, Jon Snow, Robb Stark, Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, Theon Greyjoy (played by Lily Allen's brother - ha), Bran Stark, Sandor Clegane. All played by British actors. Fantastic.

I honestly believe that's what makes the series excel to the next level, the fact that it's not a bunch of americans trying to pull off accents, long may this casting continue.

Hodor is also a Scot, not that he has much in the way of meaningful dialogue... Have to say, out of that lot it's difficult to pick the ones that stand out haha. Almost a shame that Viserys is dead (glorious though that scene was) because Harry Lloyd had him utterly nailed.

Ramius I always thought Lord Tywin was a Brit actor as well, sure I've seen him in UK stuff before? Amongst other things, he played Lord Vetinari in Going Postal last year. Can definitely see why they wanted him off the back of that performance - the characters are very similar and he was brilliant
