Think he's described as "almost 8 feet". They got a 7 foot ex-professional wrestler, they're not far off.
As for Belwas, who've they cast? Can't find anything quickly on the internet and all the previous casting decisions have been easy to find. He doesn't need to be a massive guy, just a bit of a fat Pacific Islander type chap.

Agree with Neil - I've always thought of Strong Belwas as some sort of hairless Samoan chap. Sure it won't be too difficult to find a large Samoan... 2 months

Got excited the other day when I saw a new Martin release pop up on my Amazon. Turns out it's just Dance with Dragons being released as two paper backs. Meh.

If anyone still wants to buy the paperbacks, Tesco are selling them off in either their 2 for £8 or 3 for £10 deals depending on which store you go to.
Better than £8.99 each !

They've recast Ser Gregor for season two. They're now using Ian Whyte, an ex basketball player who also played various Predators in the AvP films (as well as the White Walker from the first season). Picture below.

That's rubbish. Conan Stevens looked bang on. That said, he's not much of an actor and maybe they're recasting with a view to the more wordy scenes he'll have later.

Didn't recall a great deal of dialogue from Gregor in any of the books. The last guy looked exactly as I expected Gregor too and seemed built enough as well as tall. If all Khal Drogo had to do was look mean and grunt a few lines I'm sure they would need even less from whoever played Ser Gregor.

Yeah he doesn't have a lot to say during any of the books. The think most of his dialog is during his fight with the red viper in Storm of Swords.

Guy looks scarily tall,plus I bet he's already bulked up because of the white walker role.
Surprised he (Clegane) didn't get a chapter.Suppose It would've just been thirty pages of mindless pillaging.

Yeah it's pretty sick, I'm trying to finish A Feast For Crows but I'm just too busy atm to find the time =( Still, can't wait till it comes back to TV soon, the trailers/teasers look fantastic so far.
