Yeah looks amazing and there's not long to go now! I loved the snippet of dialogue between Tyrion and Cersei (spellcheck =P)

65% through the first book, just read the bit where Ned confronts the queen just after Robert's death. Strangely got me angry going through it again. Still not sure if I think his stupidity is implausible or really good writing.

Both, they've written his stupidity and naivety very well! 

Anyone after the paperbacks of A Dance With Dragons Pts 1 & 2 should try Asda or Sainsburys, both are doing both books in their 2 for £7 offer.

 I totally agree didn't get anywhere really but at the same time they needed to introduce and set the Season up for the new characters :) 

A good first episode I thought. Sets the scene for the series pretty well.

Have to say that Crastors Keep looks exactly like I imagined it. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Hannah Murray as Gilly too.

Melisandre is pretty bang on too. I wasn't sure when I first saw pictures of her; but that first episode has allieviated those fears.
Stannis doesn't look like what I imagined though. I actually pictured him looking remarkably like the guy who plays Davos. Maybe I'll warm to him in time though.

Hopefully Renly and his lot will appear next week. I saw a picture of Brienne the other day. They've certainly been faithful to how fugly she is in the books XD.

Yeah, funny they've gone out of their way to make a pretty average looking lass ugly for Brienne, but hired the handsomest dwarf out to play a guy that's meant to be hideous 
 
I imagined Crastor as an older, wirey guy. Probably a bit like Walder Frey. But I think he probably works better as a bit younger and less outwordly sleazy but very uncomfortable presence.

Brilliant first episode.

That was wicked.  It's good to see the guys playing Robb and Joffrey can pull of being so intense. I was actually a little bit scared of Joffrey when he threatened his mother. Also the ending was chilling

Loved it. Nice chunky bit of Dinklage gurning got things moving perfectly. Great acting.

Great stuff nice to see nearly all the main characters feature. Joffrey is still a nasty little fecker i would love to kick the crap out off.Dinklage is the man , great actor.
