Ah yeah, i've seen this in the advert for Sky Atlantic. May just have to check this one out.

Bumping this thread because 1. why not and 2. there's a new preview on youtube, the first 15 minutes of the pilot. I was determined not to watch it, and ended up failing miserably. Oh well.

Awww DAMN. Means I missed it. I was going to ask when it starts... goddamnit. Whens the repeat?

I like it, really good first episode, and nowhere near as much dungeons and dragon BS going as I thought it would be, which I can only hope stays the same through out the series.

Just watched the pilot episode, done a good job introducing all the characters to us, and from what I've read this is the worst episode out of the first 6.
 
So if that was considered the worst I cannot wait to see the rest of the series

On a serious note, how is Sean Bean ? Is Westeros located on the outskirts of Sheffield, near Gondor ?

Really really enjoyed that. Looks like it's going to be an amazing series.

im a little underwhelmed, i know they have to cover alot, but i just think too uch was going on in the first episode, love the whole of winterfell and kings landing but think those across the narrow sea are a little bit too hammy.

Sky is being installed on Thursday, anyone know if it is being repeated again before episode 2 or will I just have to find it online?

 

Whats not to love? Tits, swords, Sean Bean, incest, murder, dwarves and wolf puppies.

 

Just caught this now. Did a brilliant job of introducing all of the kingdoms, potential for some great characters.

 

I should definitely try and find it online to watch..!

Thought the first episode was really good, I can see 6 episodes this season not being enough though!
