Don't fucking piss the next few years away lad.  Work hard, keep yourself healthy, stay the fuck away from drugs and booze, talk to every girl you fancy see where it goes but always be safe.  Don't let the fat and bitter bastions of authority brain wash you, just cos they are older don't mean they know shit, trust me.  Educate yourself, get stuck in to sports or music or whatever.  Live life aggressively and know you are stronger than you think most of the time.
 
I think you already know you'll regret it if you don't.  Now get off the fucking internet and get into it. 
 
Also, keep going to local gigs, watch and support local bands, get involved with the underground music scene.
