What Really Floats Your Boat
01 April 2011 21:38
( permalink)
Seeing as the "What really grinds your gears" thread is way to negative for this modern age, evolving forum (DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM), lets have some things that really floats your boat. When the box of chicken dippers says 12, you open it up, and you get 13. That floats my boat.

The title of this thread alone floats my boat... Well played! I'll get back to this in a bit.

I have a tub with my so-called Sonisphere funds in it. If I can raise a decent amount I'm gonna go Soni as well as Download. I've been chucking in all my shrapnel and the occasional pound coin for the last 6weeks or so, and thought I'd crack it open to count. I said I'd be happy with roughly £50 so far. £97 in that motherbit ch.
Pep If you finish above us, I'll eat my shoe and wear a Villa shirt for the entire season. That's how confident I am.

Amazing sex where you experience a surpassing of consciousness that is difficult to describe. As far as outside chemicals and such go, I never touch any of the newest synthetic pills and powders. I get my kicks from things that mankind has used for thousands of years, that come from the soil. There may not be any underlying logic to this but somehow it feels right.

Finding a new band, sticking them on in the background, and realising, this sound is something very special.

Oh yeah, something else really floats my boat. I hadn't been home from University and been into the town high street since late January, and during this time a new bar has opened, and it's absolutely fucking awesome. Just a good old place to chill, there's live bands playing. And really old school gaming systems in the corner. Brilliant. Owners a top chap as well. He's a blind guy so he bought the place because he can't do much else really. Non-profit, he just wanted something to do, and any profits go to one of the Blind charities, can't remember which. That floats my boat. Nice to see stuff like that.
