Nuggets will likely lose Afflalo, he's getting a lot of interest in FA. Chandler and Smith are FAs too. Nuggets will looks really different in the 2012/13 season. Spurs are likely going to be **** for a few seasons soon, their 2 best players are near retirement.

Chandler and Affalo are restricted FA's, so they can match anything another offers them after a bid is made, and they have the cap space to sign them as well with K Mart and (probably) Nene leaving. That will apply to Chandler also when does get back form China.

Been reading up on Nene, quite a lot of the nuggets fans want him to go to make room for the cap space as they dont deem him worth the money he's demanding.

Looks like Brown is leaving LA (shame as he's a spectacular player to say the least, one day he may have managed to jump through the Staples Center ceiling...) and Affalo might be an option. Also apparently Howard to LA is a possible trade, not keen on potentially losing Gasol though, or Odom for that matter. Same old Steven, he just loves the Kroenke.

They can wait on Chandler until the season ends to see how Gallo turns out, and by all accounts so far they will match anything offered to Affalo by another team. He's a promising defensive guard who can shoot the three, and whilst that is a rare commodity who will be loved by GM's, its not enough to get top dollar, he will probably land a deal that max out at around ten mill at the most, and with the Nuggets shedding almost 30 Million dollars is cap room if Nene leaves after K Mart and Smith, they wont have to worry about really breaking the bank for him. Talk of Paul possibly going to the Clippers. The amount of alley oops to Griffin would be unreal.

Tyson Chandler to the Knicks for $58 Million, and talk of Nene staying at the Nuggets for a max contract. What was the point of the Lock Out again? EDIT: WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski The Hornets have started to inform teams that they're sending Chris Paul to the Lakers for Bynum and Odom, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Looks like it's a 3 team trade between Lakers, Hornets and Rockets, as follows (with a few draft picks involved) Lakers receive Chris Paul Hornets receive Lamar Odom, Luis Scola, Kevin Martin and Goran Dragic Rockets receive Pau Gasol IMO, Lakers and Hornets 'win' from that and Rockets lose. EDIT: Emeka Okafor is possibly involved too, going to LA.

Stern block the trade after pressure from the owners!!! Paul is pissed and wont appear for training camp. I dont think it would of been that great a trade for LA righ tnow. They would give up all there bigs aside from Bynum who is a crock at the best of times, and then you have the problem of asking Kobe to share the ball in the back court. Then again, it would of cleared Pau's massive contract along with Odom's, and would therefore mean they would be under the cap enough to get Howard, which would of been worth sacrificing size for this season for inevitable success in years to come. No wonder Cubin and the rest of the owners had a bitch at Stern.

I do see the logic if Howard is a possibility, but I'd be disappointed to lose Odom - his range of shots and physical presence is good for the side, even if the reality show is an unwanted distraction. Gasol fair enough as his contract is foolish, Bynum and Artest too I wouldn't mind leaving. Still if you consider at Odom, Gasol, Bynum, Artest and Brown leaving a few vets, rookies, mediocrities and Bryant, Howard and Paul... while still needing more to fill the squad. It's not looking good. Shame that Lakers will hog all of the World Peace, strikes me as a massive bellwhiff.

Getting rid of Pau's contract was the key to them getting Howard in free agency I feel. They could of waived Bynum to make extra room and resigned Paul for less if they got him on board with their way of thinking. The would be major contenders still in the west just with those three and whatever they manage to put around them with mid levels and veteran minimum contracts, then Kobe's contract expires in two years and then they have cap space, Paul and Howard in their prime, and Kobe coming off the bench as an impact player. They would of been set for years to come.

Just traded Bynum, Artest and Gasol for Boozer, Noah and Deng on 2k12. In reality, they signed Kapono...

Rip Hamilton to the Bulls. Paul trade is dead for the Lakers, may be considering the Clippers Odom to the Mavs Deandre Jordan to the Warriors for $10 million a year (LOL) Terrible stuff for the Lakers so far in this FA, even more so if they fail to get Howard.

So Odom's gone now... ****. Mavericks with Odom as sixth man covering Nowitzki is a bit concerning. For what as well... a pick from a playoff side? ****d.

Jordan to Warriors is potentially a really good signing. He's a good yong C with massive upside. Good defender, which was their biggest need.

He's certainly talented, but its yet another case of GM throwing money at big men at first opportunity. Forty million is a lot for that team when they already have Lee and Monta on big contracts and haven't paid Curry yet, and he might stall and just be a seven and seven big, which is not much back for ten million a year. A better example of this is Kendrick Perkins, who has a ring and is as good a defensive center in the league as anyone who isn't Dwight when healthy, is on less money now than Jordan. Paul trade to the Clippers approved. Now that is going to be a fun team to watch this season. D Rose signs new five year deal.
