All the Sonics history will be lost or taken to the Thunder if they dont find a relocate team to go back there by the end of the season. ****ing stinks.

In other news, **** you Golden State.

The Thunder own the Sonics history along with the franchise, trademarks, banners and trophies.

Anyway, Zizou style doc on Kobe, him talking through a game vs the Spurs. Pretty interesting insight.

I'll rephrase that, I quoted it wrong from the original source...

And while he retains possession of the Sonics name, logo and colors, he agreed not to use them.

Additionally, he owns the Sonics' original championship trophy, banners and retired jerseys and is permitted to periodically display them in Oklahoma City. For most of the year, the items will be kept in Seattle at the Museum of History and Industry. Bennett agreed to return their ownership to Seattle should an NBA franchise emerge here.

For now, the two parties agree to share the history of the team that played 41 years in Seattle. The Oklahoma City team will refer to Sonics records, statistics and history as its own.
According to the agreement, if Seattle is granted an expansion team in the next five years, that franchise will share the Sonics' history with the Oklahoma City team.

If Seattle lands a team through relocation of an existing franchise, most likely the Oklahoma City team will retain sole possession of the Sonics history.

If were talking documentaries this one is a great watch.

Frst Hawks game of the year starts in a few minutes, vs NJN. Should be a decent game.

EDIT: That game couldn't have gone much better.

What are the chances of a London franchise, do you reckon guys? I admire Lakers but can't properly support them. Would love a franchise in England.

An NBA team is too much to ask for at the minute I think for many reasons, the logistics of trying to fulfill an eighty two game season when the rest of they competition plays on a different continent being one of the main ones. Getting the UK league up to the competitive level of the leagues in Europe should be the starting point. Fact is the game as a whole is far better supported in Europe than it is in the UK, especially at a domestic level.

More regular season games as was done last year when the Raptors and Nets came over is the best we can hope for.

Ah fairs. The BBL is no good without the Brighton Bears and the London Towers, though. I used to be a big Brighton Bears fan as they played in the leisure centre right opposite my school. Was surreal standing with my mate watching Dennis Rodman casually walk down the stairs in the leisure centre alone one evening.

Almost non-existant chances. Too much travel. NFL is feasable as games are weekly, but in the NBA games are far too often.

Bobcats just went a point ahead with 13.5 left with a clutch 3, great game (Charlotte were 16 ahead at HT)!

Some talk yesterday about Orlando talking to them in a trade for one of Horford/Smith and (at a push ) Johnson, he is from there as well. Really doubt there is any truth in it, but it would still be a better deal for them then anything the lakers or the Nets could offer right now.

Talk of Westbrook falling out with Durant during last night's OKC game, and the Knicks (suprise, suprise) lose against the Warriors when Anthony and Amare both have off night, only 29 points between them.

I feel kinda bad for Charlotte.

About Dwight to ATL (won't happen), I wouldn't trade Horford purely because him and Dwight would be one of the best front courts of all time.

Westbrook and KD to me seems like 2 competitive guys going at each other, started by the one having a **** night (Westbrook). I doubt there's anything to it.

Could just be handbags, but this wouldn't be the first time a rift between the two of them has been suggested, and the fact remains that Westbrook is way too much a ballhog for a point guard playing in a team with a talent like Durant.

Worth keeping an eye on anyway, especially with Westbrook's contract being up at the end of the year.

To be fair, Kings havn't handled it at all well. His agent basically said he knew nothing about it.

I'd throw a couple of draft picks for him. With some leadership and maturing he should be good.

Awful game yesterday, watched most of the first half, but it wasn't worth staying up for the rest. Kobe had a mare in the first quarter and we couldn't recover.
