    Team USA likes this.

The Lakers are shopping Pau hard it seems. Houston and GSW are the teams being mentioned, and there is also talk of those assets then being traded for Howard before Thursday's deadline.

Keeping Bynum and Howard makes no sense.

Is there a deal with the Hawks possible? Gasol/Smith? What PGs do they have?

We'd trade Hinrich to you in a heartbeat, he's been crap but still has some value. Word is that we're not trading Smith by the deadline, though.

The Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks kicked off this trade deadline season with a bang, agreeing tonight on a five-player deal that will send guard Monta Ellis, forward Ekpe Udoh and center Kwame Brown to Milwaukee for center Andrew Bogut and guard Stephen Jackson. The deal, first reported by Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, was also confirmed by TNT’s David Aldridge.

Not a great trade for either side, but prefer it for Milwaukee. Get a new scoring threat and a solid young centre and offload SJax and a perma-injured player.

I doubt any Milwaukee players will see the ball when Ellis and Jennings are on court together.

Yep, that's how I see it. Jennings has wanted out from the Bucks for a while now apparently, and Monta's ceiling is too high to stick around there for too long, so its gives them more trade pieces and an eight million expiring contract with Kwame this summer.

How well this will work out for the Warriors depends on Curry's fitness, as this is the FO making him the face of the franchise now. Boguts a beast when healthy, which sadly is been pretty rare the last few years. Bierdrins and Jackson are both expiring contracts next year, so they both will be shopped around the league in the next eighteen months or so. Jackson could certainly play a part on a contending team still like he did in SA.

This is the first season in a while where it's not horrible being a Pacers fan, and no trade deadline drama, we're young and talented across the board

Dwight Howard has officially signed the waiver on his early termination option.
Howard is contractually signed to the Magic for the 12-13 season.
Howard changed his mind multiple times on Wednesday before eventually telling RealGM's Jarrod Rudolph of his intention to opt-in with the Magic late in the evening.
"Man, listen, you know my heart, my soul and everything I have is in Orlando," Howard told RealGM. "I just can't leave it behind."
Howard's preference seemed to change depending on whether he was communicating with the Magic on his own, or with members of his camp.
"I have gotten some bad advice," Howard said. "I apologize for this circus I have caused to the fans of our city. They didn't deserve none of this. I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart. I will do whatever I can to make this right and do what I was put in Orlando to do."

Washington will acquire Nene, while JaVale McGee goes to the Nuggets and Nick Young goes to the Clippers in a three-way trade that has been agreed upon.
Brian Cook and a second pick will be sent out by the Clippers.
Ronny Turiaf will also be included to the Nuggets.

Brilliant trade for the Clips, and Wall finally has a reliable second scorer. Denver, well, at least there will be no shortage of LOL's with Anderson and Mcgee on that team.

He is an expiring contract and puts up good number for knuckle head.

Very interesting. Shame to see him go with no fanfare. Deserved a send off.

Fisher to the Rockets for a Centre screams Gasol going, must be for a PF too. Smith is the most obvious available man on the market. Still all these deals going with picks, no mention of the trade exception yet. To be honest the team needs to keep more picks or they will only find themselves in the same place again. Eyenga is a SF as well so will back up Kobe and MWP/Barnes if needed, not sure if he's NBA standard though. Meant to be a good athelete though.

Jackson makes so much sense for the Spurs. Can see them pushing through to finals with the right draw.

D-Will confirms he wont opt into his contract with the Nets, and will go into FA this summer where he will almost certainly become a Maverick. Right now, the Nets are a perfect example of how to play the FA game and lose, badly.

Even looking further down the draft Nicholson looks good (yeah I read the puff piece on NBA.com and that's about the extent of my knowledge ), still not far down enough for us I fear. He's only going to rise in stock as well.

Cousins is on his way to being my fav non Bull player in the league. So much talent for a big, and he does it all whilst still playing angry like Sheed and Ewing used to do. Wind his turnovers and fouls down a bit and the kid is going to be beasting the league soon.

Fisher to the Thunder and Turiaf to the Heat after their contracts were bought out, and I know its over a week old now, but beating the Heat with out D-Rose was awesome.

Sessions down the stretch vs the Mavs was also extremely enjoyable.

I went to be early and missed our quadruple OT win...

Watching the Miami at OKC, and Durant has been unreal so far. His passing out of the post and in double teams has been terrific along with his usual offensive prowess. Amazing handles for a guy of his size too, unarguable on his day.

Yeah to be honest I can't see past him and Westbrook in the West, regardless of last year's result.

Spurs and the Lakers could both give them a real run, but not for a full round of games.

Anyway, Nash is going to talk to the Heat in the summer...

Passes like he was dishing out the other night meant lots of easy buckets for Perkins and Ibaka, and considering they are by far the two worst scorer on that starting five, it could be very ominous for the rest of the west come the play off's. Certainly wouldn't count out the Clips, or especially the Grizz if they stay healthy (best front court in the league plus Rudy Gay when they are all fit) and if Dirk gets going, the Mavs will always have a shout.

Sadly, Nash on the Heat = G.O.A.T transition offence.
