Great announcement for the Winter Classic, should be a really good one.
Great weekend for the Flames beating our hoodoo team the Nucks, chuffed with that. Back in the hunt for that 8th spot. Going to go right down to the wire.
Great weekend for the Rangers too, topping Flyers AGAIN and Caps last night. Loving this team at the moment.

Tampa have turned average again  I just won the Stanley Cup on NHL 12 finally though so in my little dreamworld, we are the current champions

7 of our last 8 games have gone into overtime with last nights shootout win. getting annoying not finishing teams off in regulation. still, 16 points clear at the top of the northwest now

Another convincing win for the Flames over the Leafs!! The team are playing so well right now, I'm starting to believe play-offs could be an actual possibility. *squeeeeeee* I should like make some sort of bet or promise to tempt fate. Like, if the Flames make the play-offs, I'll run down the street in nothing but my jersey. Or something. Maybe not that. Hmm

At least you won v Oilers!! That 8th spot is looking a bit more secure for you now. We have the Yotes in our sights, and playing at Dallas tonight - very very big game for both sides, could be a clincher. Well ok not quite but you know. GO FLAMES!

tbh as long as we keep the Habs and/or Sens out of 8th place, I'll be ecstatic
but I fancy 6th in the standings, get the winner of SW division, weak as this season, even Ovi's and his Caps aren't performing this year

awful road trip to Western Canada 1-2-0, the only win was the Oilers
Let's hope Burke pulls a great trade that bags us a 90-point veteran for the play-off push and potential Stanley
as long as we keep: Phanuef, Kessel, Lupul, Schenn, Gardiner, Reimer and the monster I don't care who goes, but Komisarek, Armstrong, Lombardi, Kadri and Rosehill better be the first ones out

Tampa have traded Kubina for a couple of draft picks and Kalinski with Philly. Think that's a bad move personally. Would like to have kept Kubina or at least got more for him.
We are obviously looking at the future though. We now have 3 second round picks and another with an option of 2012/13. Lets hope we actually draft well.

Stoked at the Flames progress, beating LA was absolutely massive for us. Finally nicked into the 8th play-off spot and looking stronger, Kiprusoff is in blinding form and Cammalleri looks to have been a really valuable trade for us. Feeling very positive right now!!

Tampa have traded Steve Downie and got a first round 2012 pick today. We really are looking to the future. By my count we have 2 first round picks and 4 second round picks this year.

I wish Rangers would make up their minds about Nash, it's unsettling! He would be a great asset but I'm not sure it's worth it, depends who we'd have to give up for it. Please not DZ. He's the dude.
