Best:

Old Trafford - absolutely magic, especially on European nights, has that extra something over Premiership & Carling Cup matches that I have been to as well. Just wish it was easier to get tickets in the Stretford End.

Villa Park - (for an England U21's match) Proper old-school stadium with it's layout and structure, decent atmosphere too.

Worst:

Eastlands, went there for an Oasis gig in 2005, much better then any football played there obviously.  As a stadium it's probably not that bad, apart from that it took bloody forever to get a pint, so much that I ended up missing the entire set of one of the support bands that day.

    Best:
Emirates Stadium, haven't been to that many big stadiums but this was absolutely phenomenal. Argyle v Arsenal in the 3rd round of the FA Cup a few years ago, we lost and we were never going to win, but it was a fantastic day.

    Worst:
    St. James' Park, Exeter. Sh*thole.

Stamford Bridge gets a thumbs up. Seating was excellent with great views and the atmosphere was good too (although I hear they had to import it from up North for the day). The tickets arrangement was bull**** though, I got frisked three times and asked to show my ticket six times on my way to the gate because they hadn't worked out a good system. The setup of the stadium doesn't really lend itself to hosting big away followings as the fans are forced to mingle, but to the credit of all involved the integration of the fans from Earls Court (was sat in a Fullers pub which pre-kick off which steadily filled with Chelsea fans...) to the tube to the stadium itself. All in all it's a trip I wouldn't mind making again, quite likely as we do play at least six times a season.

RIP Joe                                    "You say the hill's too steep to climb.

        Best

City Of Manchester - lovely looking, great atmosphere when I went
Wembley (new) - was full and rocking, looks stunning as well
Ashton Gate - a dump in a good way, away stand has the best atmosphere for any stand I've ever been in
Villa Park - just quite lovely

        Worst

Hawthorns - bad atmosphere and the worst stewards I've ever had the misfortune to meet
Fratton Park - a dump in a bad way, good atmosphere though
Madjeski - it may be home but it's generic and the atmosphere's dead, although it doesn't help that our fans refuse to sing
Ricoh Arena - see above except for the home bit
Turf Moor - horrible to be in, horrible to look at, horrible to be near to

Don't get the new Wembley hate at all. It still has a fantastic atmosphere, and the walk up Wembley Way is exactly the same as it was with the old Wembley. I went to the old Wembley three times, and I loved it, but I see the new Wembley as pretty much the same, but with a fantastic new stadium.

Best - New Wembley, Eastlands, Molineux (something about the colour I really like), and I still think The Reebok is one of the more unique stadiums about. I also like Huddersfield's McAlpine for the same reasons.

Worst - Tranmere's Prenton Park. Say's it all when one of their stands is called the 'Cow Shed End'. Also, Stoke's old Victoria Park was horrendous. York's Bloomfield Cresent, Stockport's Edgely Park and Burnley's Turf Moor are/were pretty bad.

When Wembley is dead it is balls.
When Wembley is full and In full voice it really is something else.

Went to Oakwell (Barnsley's stadium) a couple of weeks ago, seriously poor stadium.

Worst : Tranmere (poor fans),Fulham (as mentioned the toilets are terrible) ,Reading (Are there even fans there? dead atmosphere the two times i been there)

Missed out Cardiff City Stadium off of my worst list - too clinical, no atmosphere, although kudos for making Cardiff fans not feel intimidating.

After going on Saturday, Portman Road for my best. Great view, nice low roof, classic inside bit, just great.

Can't believe someone put Craven Cottage as a worst stadium! It's amazing! We're loudest when our away support congregates there. Amazing acoustics and great vibe. It helps that Fulham fans don't actually exist.

                                Post-away game bump.

AFC Wimbledon - Absolute shithole. Worst football ground I have ever been in, you can't see half the pitch from ANY place along the terrace (or in the uncovered area) and the roof is so low you can't see any high balls... which considering the size and condition of the pitch forces teams to play it off the floor is a big negative. The best vantage point in the whole away end was stood on a rail behind a wall. The toilet block had a faulty drain which led to a huge puddle of piss in the food area and the home fans were dead. Pubs in New Malden were nice enough and the fans were good to chat to before and after, also quite easy to get to really. But, frankly, not only does it make ****ty old Plainmoor look good, it's not even up to the standard of Tiverton Town's ground... which at least has a pub/pavillion.

Trust me mate, Kingsmeadow is a shithole I went twice this year and I was seriously put off, the food vendors serve cold food, the drain has been like that most the year. The taps in the toilets don't work and you'll be lucky if the bogs go down with one flush.

Cherry Red have sponsored us and have said they'll help improve the "basic facilities" in the stadium but I'm not counting on it.

I'm here to show the world.

Since my last post in here:

Re-visited Cardiff City Stadium - much better than I remembered.
Vicarage Road - there is no room to move in that concourse. It's basically only got 3 sides and the home fans are silent. Very poor.
The New Den - the police presence just makes the Millwall fans threats laughable, and you can really make some noise in the away end. Great day out.
Oakwell - dump. Stand to the right of the away fans is a mess, and looking out onto Barnsley above the opposite stand just makes it even more of a dump.
London Road - loved it. The terrace was great.
Upton Park - tight concourse, cramped seats, but the atmosphere around the place is something else, and it looks pretty nice from the front.
Amex Stadium - looks stunning from the outside, and the noise in the place is huge, but it's very obviously half finished.
St. Mary's Stadium - very cramped seats for a new ground, but otherwise quite nice.

I went to Stadium:MK a few weeks ago and I can't believe they still haven't finished it. It's been like that for 5 years now. Just awful.

Realised I never posted about Villa back in December. Hated my seat, loved everything else about it. Proper historic stadium, loved walking up under the bridge and past the Holte. The open corner I was sat in drew the wind (which was ****ing baltic) right through me and I was shivering for most of the game which hampered any attempt to help the atmos, but it was nice inside and out even if the home end down by us seemed in need of renovation inside.

Yeah, it's just one of those things that the club has to deal with on it's road back to it's former position I suppose. That said, it's astonishing that the league has let the club stay there, I guess they didn't want to play hard-ball with the story of a phoenix club. They should be demanding improvement though, especially that drain as it ****ing stank. My mate seemed amused by the luminous pink tickets though.
