Other headliner I think is A Day to Remember from what I've heard.

ADTR would put a massive dampener on things... Does anybody take them seriously anymore?

conbotdilnor The-SikTh-SenSE The rumblings I have heard is that Hevy did have Refused in the bag, but Soni came along and took them from under them with a better offer. But yeh, them and At The Drive-In as headliners would have made this instantly sell out. As long as Converge are in the tent, it's all groovely. They will not work outdoors! Haha. Anyone have any ideas about the other headliner? In my wildest dreams I would love it to be Deftones... But just can't see that happening... That would be disappointing if true about Refused, but understandable I guess. I'd like to think they're a band who would enjoy playing to their kind of crowd rather than earning a few more bucks, makes me kind of wish they hadn't bothered reforming. Seeing them in a packed, small, sweaty room is what I pictured, not a big outdoor stage at a festival. Ah well. Said sweaty room is also the only way to see Converge. As for the other headliner, I can imagine it being someone average but popular, like Parkway Drive. Seeing as the heavy rumour is that Soni had to pay them £500k to be a festival exclusive, then I'd say they're more bothered about the quick buck now. As for other headliner, Defsteve a while back was hinting at Deftones. He's since gone quiet on that, and, from what I gather, talks didn't get very far. I think it's something to do with Chino touring Crosses over the summer instead. Wouldn't be surprised at all if it did end up being ADTR. Was expecting them on the Leeds announcement. No room left for them at Soni and Download realistically either. Makes some sense.

ADTR are a joke band for annoying kids; would be seriously pissed if they got to headline such a great festival. Band members are arrogant dicks, too.

Wouldnt complain about ADTR or Parkway. Neither are the best headliners, but with a lineup like this I'd still be happy with a mediocre headliner :D

If it's between ADTR or Parkway Drive, then given the current lineup, I'd be more inclined to assume Parkway would take the slot, as they'd atleast have some respect from the Hevy crowd. The next announcement would have to be full of pop-punk / more mainstream acts for ADTR to fit in.

The-SikTh-SenSE caffeine_bomb I don't think the Hevy promotors could afford either Refused or At The Drive In, shame really, would've suited the festival really well too. Really hope I can make it this year, line up is already looking great, out of the latest announcement, Descendants, H2O, This Is Hell, Listener, Reign Supreme and Seahaven are great additions. The rumblings I have heard is that Hevy did have Refused in the bag, but Soni came along and took them from under them with a better offer. Think we might see Refused at Hevy now?

Not sure if it'll make any difference to them playing Hevy, but the editor of Kerrang said to me on twitter that apprently Refused are on the Camden Crawl this year. I'vecompletely gone off Hevy this year, so I'm really hoping they don't end up getting added

Apologies for the radio silence! Our 3rd line-up announcement for Hevy 2012 (including our second headliner) will be on Thursday 26th April. We've managed to secure some meaty exclusives, and can't wait to unleash the next batch of bands. Stay tuned.... http://www.facebook.com/HevyFest
