Severely tempted to try getting tickets to one or two of the european dates too. I can think of worse ways to spend a summer than following Pearl Jam on tour 

Should go for it.  Always meet great people touring around with Pearl jam.
 
Berlin looks like it's gonna be the big one.  Very popular with band and 10 club.

It is so very tempting to blow my next pay cheque on a Pearl Jam tickets for each of their europe shows and then the pay cheque after that on flights and trains getting from gig to gig. And then spend the next few months living in poverty whilst I save up spending money.
 
If come my next pay day I can still pick up tickets for the european shows then ill take it as a sign that I should do it. Ill even consider eBay and Viagogo if there are tickets available at not too unreasonable prices.

We would have done a European one too but with Download, Sonisphere and maybe Optimus all within about 4 weeks it wasn't really viable.

Got my Manchester tickets. Ticketmaster was a real pain though, it kept allocating me seats (couldn't get standing) & when it went through to card verification gave me an error screen & a 'return to previous page' button. I've had two confirmation emails though so it looks like I've got two lots of different tickets? This is awesome as some of my mates couldn't get any....praying Ticketmaster don't cancel one of the orders?

We would have done a European one too but with Download, Sonisphere and maybe Optimus all within about 4 weeks it wasn't really viable.

Their festival shows are on general sale now but their own shows still seem to be presale only at the moment. Ill settle for seated tickets for any shows if I have to (and then try some haggling with touts outside the venue to change it for a standing ticket for a small fee as ive managed to do at big shows in the past). I dont mind paying a bit over the top as the euro exchange rate should hopefully knock a bit off the total price too.
 
If come pay day I have enough money in my bank to buy a stack of tickets (at whatever the prices) then I will. If not then it will have to be a pipe dream for another year.

Prices for Manchester on Viagogo arent quite as mad as I expected. Theres plenty of people selling for ridiculous prices but you can still pick up some standing tickets for less than £100 which I didnt expect.

I reckon that's cause' general sale isn't til' tomorrow. Once peeps haven't managed to get tickets tomorrow demand will increase & prices will rise.

Standing listed as sold out, but only clicked for curiosity - make up of group meant it was only ever gonna be seated
 

Got mine - seated. Not brilliant position but just glad not trusting to general sale as i am busy until lunch tomorrow.
 
Just checked again out of curiosity and only the upper back wall and corners available.

Something went horribly wrong. Lots and lots of people were unsuccessful getting tickets through the 10 Club. Problems were also encountered with people outside Great Britain using credit cards. Their banks were refusing the transactions due to increased credit card fraud in this region. Nightmare! They ended up abandoning the 10 Club presale but have said that any members who manage to get GA tickets through general sale will still get their early entry wristbands....

I dont profress to be a legal expert but i do some volunteer work for a charity as a project manager on some of their events.
 
It is apparently illegal to announce a general public sale date without holding back at least some tickets at every price range for such a general sale. If you have a presale you are not allowed to sell all tickets, if you have announced a general sale date - even to paid up members e.g. a fan club or members club. Bloody EU bureacrats.
 
So there will be some standing tickets released tomorrow, there always is. Doubt it will be many though.

Im getting mine though a mate who is a manager in a well known ticket office. He is putting ours through before they open the phone lines in the morning.
 
How many they have i do not know, but 100% they are selling standing tickets tomorow.

Fuck it, I've had to cave in and get seating tickets,  in the lower tier though, so not too bad. At least I get to see them finally!
