Got my Pearl Jam tickets this morning. Happy. Will be a while yet for Download, Oracle said other day that the design hadnt event been signed off yet. Id be amazed if more than 4-6 weeks in advance they delay them these days to limit fraud oppurtunities among other things.

MEN Arena.com
Grunge legends Pearl Jam return to the Manchester Arena next week. Doors are due to open at 6.00pm and the show will end at approximately 10.45pm. Support comes from Los Angeles punk rockers X.
So are 'X' any good
Any one with any better idea on wednesdays running order times - what time do we expect PJ?

According to the email I got from the MEN arena the run-times are this...
Doors: 6pm
X: 7:30pm
Pearl Jam: 8:45pm
Curfew: 11pm
Ta I am in no way disappointed with final getting to see Pearl Jam one of the very last bands on my must see list - and a decade of bad dates However i thought they typically played longer, and on occasion had no support Regardless its a very decent set length and i am stoked.

These will be PJ gigs 14 & 15 for us (over a 20 year period though)
And ignore the curfew. Last time at the MEN they played past 11pm

If anyone is interested, IoW tickets are going really cheap now. I just got 3 x full weekend camping tickets for £80 each, so just gonna go over for the PJ day. Ridiculously excited.

Any suggestions on manchester parking for MEN Arena
Leaflet with tickets suggesting car park actually at Arena but may not be able to arrive until 6.30/7.00 - does it fill up?
Any alternative suggestions - to be honest looking for convenience rather than penny pinching and walking miles.
Not too worried about exit ease after - only got to get to travelodge in oldham overnight stay before sunderland springsteen run next day

I'm currently parked on the Printworks car park - but thats because work are paying. Its a bit expensive.
I'd suggest you park on the old boddingtons car park on Great Ducie street - I usually park there every day, and its a piece of cake to get out of after the gig. It should be no more than 6 quid
Good gigs are like buses, you wait ages for one, then you end up with loads at the same time.
