ChardyRoo HardlyContent ChardyRoo Lowestoft has a tattoo place?!?!?! I'm quite shocked haha. There's a good one in Bury and a guy I can recommend you to in Haverhill...but Haverhill is also a godawful place lol Ahahaha, AGREED Haverhill is a complete ****hole But plus side is it has quite a few good tattooists, Andys shop in Queens square is a favourite of mine (: Hate to tell ya, Andy is a cunt, he ****ed up one of my tattoos on my back (spelt it wrong with totally different lettering, total opposite to what I gave him!), he overcharges for his work, I went to tell him about the mis-spelling and he said he didn't it was MY wrongdoing when I know fully well it wasn't (I'm a damn good speller!) and refused to sort it. Plus he sparked a spliff as he was tattooing me once, nearly left without paying! There's a guy called Mike in Haverhill that's really good! :) Wow that sucks! Since mine isn't very big I was basing my liking for that shop on the ink not fading like some other people I know. And the fact I got it for £20 since he seems to fancy the friend who took me down there, I don't think I'm going there for my next one now ha. Mike? Has he got a shop or is he a freelancer? (:

Freelancer? Pretty much all tattooists are freelance. Not working from a shop is, in general, a very bad sign.

(: Yeh that's the one upside with Andy he does it so well so it never fades, admittidly some of his tattoos are awesome like dragons and mythical creatures and that but custom...nah! Thing is he was a friend of my sisters fiancee, even he said to Andy about my back and said the same thing...asshole! Mike now has a shop behind the chocolate shop on the high street, you can see it from the Co-op car park, his work is amazing!

This thread is appropriate for what I should be doing right now - my art project. It's about music and I've got onto the fashion, and now I'm onto tattoo's and it's pretty interesting to see people's meanings behind their ink ;3 Edit; also thinking of getting a tattoo myself the lyrics "Those dreams you dare to dream really do come true" from somewhere over the rainbow for my Nan who passed away over a year ago, but I'm still undecided ^_^

Yeah I'm just gonna build around it and have a 'music arm' nothing specific too bands (hence there being no FTHC thing in the cross, to the untrained eye thats just a guitar and swallows lol ). Might add stuff like a grammaphone, with the speaker end of it being a flower and music notes coming out etc, a chrome looking 50's mic, that kinda thing, just tie all the individual pieces in with flowers and sheet music to (insert song here) lol[/:)] Got it planned, just need the moneeeeyzzz

Not a fan of them at all, they done my tribal and it turned out crap. They charge way too much as well. I get all my work done in Timeless now, used to be in thee Savoy but they've moved to Dundas street. ^^ Based on The Wall by Pink Floyd, completely custom drawing. Five and a half hours and cost £350. ^^ Arieth from FFVII, took two hours. £160.

It's been a couple of years since Sean posted his tattoo on this forum. I finally booked in with Gerry Carnelly. London to Derby is going to be a bit of a ball ache, but totally looking forward to it. Though this is my first tattoo and I am not sure if I am going to manage a 6 hour session. We'll see.

But aye, they are quite expensive. I'll be going to Outer Limits in Stirling for any I get in future, she did the koi dragon I have on my ribs I posted a few pages back.

I've got one on my foot although I can't find the pic of it. I really want it redoing though as it's so faded and I made such a rushed decision when I had it done a few years ago. It's on my to-do list. I also want something on my left side down from ribs to hips. Some writing.

I tried to keep it narrow so i can fit all the masks around it. But its proving to be a lot harder to do. Especially for the idea i have for sid. I am hoping to do him in his first mask with his hands coming up to hold on to it and showing his transformer tattoos on the back of his hands and the must kill across his knuckles. Think im gonna have to put this on my lower arm

I think what doesn't help with the ribs is lying in one position for hours. 6 hours over 3 sessions mine too. But so worth it, I love it
