Alter Bridge are only considered because Myles is singing with Slash, they'll never be big enough, well unless a few bands pull-out BFMV and A7X are not big enough, and need a big album each to even contend 30stm, maybe, one day but it's looking more and more like they're going away for a while, possibly forever and Judas Priest have had their chance, and never got there. personally, it all depends on how this years headliners go down, and I'd like to see new headliners/ones that haven't for a while (eg Iron Maiden since 2007) but I'd throw; Rammstein Iron Maiden MUSE (outsider) G'N'R (full line-up if it happens) Foo Fighters into the mix

Jesus wept. AC will be thinking about it, but shouldn't we go through the tedious formality of y'know, actually completing DL2012? It was worse on the Soni forums though, they were talking about 2013 before last week's headliner announcement.

Why does anyone want to talk bout next years Headliners? heres a good rumour for you and its based on history and math. Repeats, moaning and 'I'm going to sonisphere' comments will be made.

Foo Fighters / Iron Maiden / Slipknot I would say Bullet or Avenged to be considered as a option aswell depending on how well their new albums go and tour.

Aye. It's like saying "Right, Download 2016 is only 4 years away, marking the 10th anniversary of the legendary 2006 line up, wouldn't it be cool if they booked the exact same line up again?" Christ.

People seem to still want the same rotation of massive bands, that thinking will eventually kill of rock festivals. your Iron Maidens and Metallicas cant go on forever, new blood needs to be given the chance to step up. Download has done this well over the years, some have worked some havent but festivals need to keep giving bands the chance

Bullet For My Valentine Alter Bridge Paramore Avenged Sevenfold Will never headline! none of them have or ever will have the pulling power to headline a major festival in the UK so we can get them out the way.
