Lock-up 2012

Still can't believe Less Than Jake/Foos 

So the lockup stage is on the 2 days with the heavier bands on main. 

Can't understand the decision to have the dance stage on the Saturday! Surely Friday and Saturday are the best days for the lockup!

Well for starters Me first and the Gimme gimmes have to be on Foo Fighters day because they share a member (Chris), and At the Drive-In fans are more likely to be lock up fans so having no lock up in that day sort of makes sense too.

Pleased with the announcement, gives me something to do now on the Friday night. 
 
Dance stage doesn't look too good though.

Because on the Saturday at Reading, they've essentially turned the NME stage into one big rock tent (excusing The Cribs).

\Sorry, I've never heard of Miiike Snow before. I've heard people going on about him on these forums before, so I assumed he was rock-ish.

It's a decent guide, though they've got Me First and the Foo's overlapping, No REALLY bad clashes for me yet, except for maybe PABH & A,IHN, but as much as I'd like to see both, Apologies win that clash easily.

if this ends up being accurate then my firday night just got a bit better, finish watching paramore then head over to lock up for all of anti flag and social distortion and avoid the cure :)

Just realised on that mock timetable the Paramore and ETID clash, as well as Foo Fighters and Less Than Jake>:-]

Me neither, Foos were one of the main reasons I was going to Leeds because I've never seen them live before but Less Than Jake have been one of my fave bands since I was like 13 lol. Sooooo I'll be watching LTJ but gutted I won't get to see the Foos.  </3

Based on the last few years headliners, Foo's will start before Less than Jake, and they'll finish after Less than Jake, so you can catch the beginning and end of the Foos.
 
On an unrelated note (didn't wanna start a new thread) When's the FR stage normally announced? It had a few decent bands last year.

 

I remember Less Than Jake clashing with Metallica in '06 (I think)! They don't have it easy! haha! 

Good announcement really wished Social D were on Main on the Foos day but oh well. Just check out a few bands on youtube and I will defo try and catch The Skints and maybe Polar Bear Club, Flatliners and Turbonegro.

I'll be at Foos, but only 'cos LTJ are playing shows in June so I could see them then.

Dissappointed about the probable ETID/Paramore clash but seen Paramore before and not seen ETID so they win.

And 08 They were meant to clash with Rage Against The machine but then swapped with Pennywise cause of the outcry. 

Pretty good announcement, only problem is that the few bands I did want to watch pre-lock-up announcement now clash with the lock-up band's I'd watch. So it hasn't massively increased the number of bands that I would watch overall.
