Yeah, we were stood near the mixing desk & apart from some peeps in the pit most people were just talking amongst themselves during BMTH's set. The Manchester Central is poor. Unfortunately it's the only middle-ground between the MEN Arena & the Apollo. I'd have rather Machine Head did 2 nights at the Apollo than play the Central tbh.

I got the impression that the MH/BMTH tour was just a very badly thought out idea. It seemed that despite it being a MH headline tour both bands expected a more mixed audience of both bands fans and were hoping for an opportunity to introduce themselves to some new fans. Instead tickets ended up being bought almost entirely by MH fans.

BMTH are just embarrassing full stop. I hear they're gonna make a more post-metal sounding new record? Well if it's genuine and done well I'd give it a shot but I'm not sure how their shallow fanbase will take to that. Frank Headlining would be a brilliant idea for this.

There's little under two weeks to go until the lineup for the Vans Warped Tour is unveiled - and you can be at the exclusive launch party yourself! We've teamed with Warped to offer 10 Kerrang! readers a pair of tickets to the London bash, which takes place on Tuesday May 8 at a London venue. There you'll get a chance to watch the Warped Tour documentary, No Room For Rockstars, before being among the first people in the country to hear the Warped lineup! Winners will even be laden with goodies courtesy of Vans! To enter, email your name, age, address and contact telephone number to feedback@kerrang.com with 'Warped party!' in the subject line. Entrants must be 16 or over and able to arrive at 6pm for 6.30pm start. The event should finish by 9pm. No travel or accommodation expenses can be provided. Winners will be notified on Friday 4 May.
