Sweet, got my ticket. Good timing, having just received a letter from HMRC saying they owe me £2600 - I can afford to blow some of that on gigs.

Tempted, but London midweek is a bitch & it's the week before I have to travel back there to get to Optimus Alive...

Hmmm, think I'll have to pass. Manchester please.

Sweet, got my ticket. Good timing, having just received a letter from HMRC saying they owe me £2600 - I can afford to blow some of that on gigs.

I got a letter once claiming i was due £2500 ish refund from overpayment.

I then got a letter saying i couldnt claim until i evidenced what i was due to pay in the next year.

9 months later i got £500 ish refund, £1000 discount spread over future tax payments  and £1000 mysteriously disappeared up HMRC's arse.

9 months later a legal bill of £250ish spent gaining legal clarification of which orifice. Tax office apparently snorted it rather than up their arse. My mistake.

I consider myself intelligent but i do not understand tax law.

My advice - go to a few extra gigs but do not count on the refund actually turning up.

Next Gig -  The Boss - Coventry - 20/6

Taken a chance on this. Never seen him at his own show and seen regular comments he is better there than at festivals (not difficult I know!). Fingers crossed it will be worth it.

After seeing his performance at the golden gods and having the misfortune of seeing him at DL09, I'll pass. Shame, I actually quite like his music.

Considering the amount of songs they play these days, its obvious the band are not even interested in playing a good quantity of songs plus why do they need to cover Sweet Dreams all the time, the band have got far better songs of their own!!!!!!!

I'll go if I find a £8 ticket which shouldn't be too hard.

Good show tonight, much better than his last time at Download. Once again, I drank too much and it's a bit of a blur, but I had a good time. Crowd seemed really into it.
