I remember being sat in my car for about 3 hours while it threw it down with rain, and getting changed into whatever random dry clothes I had left... Worth it for Linkin Park though...

Oh, and if anyone was in Blue Camp on Friday morning, around 7am, did you see the girl in the brown velvet suit doing teddy bear rolls when people came close? That was a fun morning.

Singing "Mooooooorniiiiiiings heeeeeeeeere" every morning Korn playing one of the best sets i've seen them do to a humongous crowd (for 2nd stage) Early morning Chthonic set, great way to start Saturday Twisted Sister being generally awesome on 2nd stage Singing along to System of a Down whilst wasted, waving a sausage in the air Being painfully cold on Sunday and having to leave the festival early

All those zombies on the Friday, plus Korn and Pendulum putting in awesome performances. SOAD and Skindred on the Saturday - nuff said bit of a washout on Sunday but Kvelertak, Buckcherry and Frank Turner finished off the weekend nicely. and on top of all that I had guestlist camping and those lovely flushing porcelain toilets

Two best sets were SOAD and Rob Zombie. Both just blew me away. Loved FINALLY seeing GWAR after about 20 years since I first saw them on Beavis and Butthead

Gwar not having enough time and Kvelertak making me forget bout the cold damp dirty knee deep mud rain fest. I was one of the others at Biohazard. We just need to find the other six now. They put on a good set, but it was already way too wet and slippery to mosh. Kvelertak, GWAR and Turisas all made getting in the arena early worthwhile too, even if I had to seek shelter checking out new bands in the tents until the rain slacked off.

My second Download and much better organised this time. Met up with everyone from 2010. Loved Def Leppard , had not seen them since the Slang tour in 1996. So many good bands , The Darkness, Thin Lizzy , Alice Cooper , Twisted Sister , Cheap Trick , Black Stone Cherry. Met Al Murray in the tent watching some Death metal band (?). The rain on the Sunday was a real downer , ended up leaving before The Cult . We're due a sunny weekend this year peeps !.

my top moment was when system played chop suey, as it was whilst I was playing this song that I first got talking to my bf over 5 years ago in a park. so that song is quite special to us :) other than that.. skindred, korn, children of bodom (who surpised us because they were much better live than on cd), and avenged sevenfold because I really wasn't expecting to enjoy them.

My first festival and my honeymoon after being married the Saturday before. Too many good memories and one bad one (rain). Twisted Sister were my highlight but my wife enjoyed kissing Jaret Reddick of BFS on the cheek (I got a high five of him though). Being asked if my Wife who is 2 years older then me was my daughter! Def Leppard, Newport 'elicopta', Alice Cooper, a guy motor-boated his girlfriend during Alterbridge. I have regrets too like not going down to see SOAD after Alice Cooper finished, not being prepared for the rain, seeing Linkin Park over Rob Zombie. But the good one outweigh the bad ones by a long way.

So MUCH GOOD: - First festival
- Rocking up at 12:30 having taken an exam 9:00-11:00 that morning
- Alter Bridge performing like bosses as usual on the Friday
- Drunkenly singing along to the Darkness
- Escape the Fate being the first band I saw on the Saturday and blowing everyone away with the solo/outro/double bass bit in their last song "Aftermath"
- Avenged - band of the weekend, absolutely amazing performance
- almost dying cos of dehydration and the fact I couldn't breathe at the front for SOAD (I'm only about 5, '7)
- Watching Bowling for soup being epic on the Sunday with my bro.
BAD: Pendulum not playing any older songs :( Hayfever kicking in really bad on Saturday daytime whilst Dio's Disciples and Paul Gilbert were on. (Me being a tit, i forgot my tablets haha) Pretty Reckless being dreadful and complaining that people didn't like their bad performance +++ her lifting hr top up but having taped nipples... What a tease/let-down :( Rain meaning I missed Disturbed and Bullet. I really wanted to see LP as well, I'm a hug fan, but their setlist wasn't great imo. Same could be said about Bullet in all fairness.

I have so many memorys that are completly awesome. Some of the best bands i seen , danzig alice cooper, skindrid acoustic set, twisted sister, cheap tricks, rob zombie. plus loads more Making so many new friends and catching up with old ones. Watching my mate dale getting searched by security going in to the vilage and all he has on is a mankini. Security then telling him to go over to the cops as it was obvious that his c*ck had been stolen. It was so funny watching his face thought he was going to throw a fit. And still so many great experinces after them

While it was obvious it wasn't the best System have been in regards to a visual sense. Sonically they were tight as hell, brilliant time with everyone having a good time around me. The bemusement on peoples faces at Ghost.

Best Festival Ever. I cried when SOAD came on. They've been my favourite band for 10 years and I thought I'd never see them. Friday night was great! I wanted to see Twist Of Cain so went to see Danzig and he opened with it. Wanted to see Lets Get Rocked and as I was walking to Pendulum, Def Lep just started, so I watched that, Then Pendulum came on late, so I met my mates by pure chance and got to see Pendulums full set! The rain on sunday, Everyone bar myself, Ed, Robin and Lee going home early. But we stayed and loved it. Linkin Park were amazing. DAT BASS. All in all, My favourite Festival ever.

My first Download, was assimilated by the Duckers, had seconds at the BBBQ, nearly cried when I saw Alter Bridge and A7X, got depressed on the Sunday so stayed in camp coz I couldn't be bothered to slog through the mud. So far, the best experience I ever had in my life, looking forward to this year being 10 times as good
