Wondered how many people read these? I've been hooked throughout, has been incredible, just finished Volume 11 - Fear The Hunters, and the whole thing has turned up a notch, seriously more ****ed up now than it has been. 

If theres anywhere online I could read, I would but wouldn't bother buying them as i'm skiiiiiiiiint

I'm up to Issue 48, waiting for Compendium 2 "49-96" to come out, then I'll start getting the volumes. Fantastic read, though I felt that 30-48 I was reading a completely different book. It's turns so harsh! I don't know how the TV show will adapt to it.

Especially as certain parts are actually impossible, due to characters seemingly not existing, and dying well before their role really gets played. And I doubt they'll *SPOILERS FOR THOSE NOT READ IT* actually kill off Lori and Judy in the TV show. 

I hope they just kill Carl.

How much have you actually read? Or are you merely going on the TV series, cos Carl in the books is a lot different to the prick on the TV

I'm pretty much up to date, got maybe one or two issues to read.
 
Overall, I've been pretty happy with it so far, yes, it hasn't been word for word from the comics, but it's taken enough from it for me to be pleased, rumours that the likes of Tyrese maybe appearing (although it'd clearly be a lot later than the actual comics, so his death by the Governor looks a little sketchy).
 
Can't wait for the governor to be introduced, if it's done right, it'll be the best thing to happen to this show,.

I cant wait for it to start again!

Just finished reading volume 16 - exciting changes ahead - I just want the program to hurry the hell up and catch up with the graphic novels now

The TV is massively behind the comics and Kirknman the creator says it will stay that way, he wants the comic to be in a completely different place to the TV show. He doesn't want them side by side, he wants them as two different things.
 
Ive read all the comics, im up to date with Issue 100 which was released today.
 
****s sake they didn't lie about the build up to this issue, I had felt lately the series was kind of dragging a bit but this arc has been something else, Kirkman confirms again in this issue in the editoral, they're nowhere near even half way yet and mentions getting to a 1000 issues, which is just mad thinking about it.

The ending to issue 100...fucking hell.....

I really want issue 101 to come out now, not normally bothered about the wait usually, but that ending...

How much are the comics? and where can I get them from?

If you're getting them separately it can work out to be quite pricey (whether it be in paper format or downloaded), but I'd definitely recommend getting the 1st compendium, which covers the first 8 volumes (issues 1-48). That should keep you going for a while, and then the second compendium is out in october I think.

Already, I want to read a Rise of Negan book

Absolutely love the books, couldn't believe issue 100; I was speechless at the ending for about half an hour, unfortunately from what I've seen of the TV series (watched the first 2 seasons) it just doesn't live up to the books.
 
I understand Kirkman wanting to make the series different, but the way many have the characters have been changed (i.e. Andrea) bugs me, though I am happpy to hear that they are going to be introducing Tyreese rather than replacing him with the (pointless character that is) T-dogg (which it looked like they were aiming at earlier on).

I love the Walking Dead show and haven't been able to find the novels around here (gonna have to order offline I think) but I've heard so many great things about them that I have to give them a read lol
