I might just get a really early train to Birmingham tomorrow morning and go to the box office and then no worries about Ticketmaster being a dick again.

The amount of tickets that are already on ebay is scandalous. I had similar experiences with ticketmaster and ticket web to the other on here. will give it a go tomorrow but not holding out any hope

Rockstar ThinkHarder Having looked at some pics of the venue I still can't decide if I'd want to be on the floor or the balcony! www.academy-music-group.co.uk/gallery/index.aspx?galleryName=SEARCH_O2%20Academy%20Birmingham#0 Balcony, trust me i've done both and will opt for balcony every time, the view is great. Floor is good if you wanna get in the pit for certain types of bands tho, but when sold out its like sardines in a can sometimes. Both Deftones and Alice In Chains was MENTAL downstairs. 100% sardine city. For Evanescence we stood upstairs stage left. Great view. Much easier getting served at the bar upstairs as well. Although the seating area upstairs is UNRESERVED. So you will have to queue in balcony queue (seperate queue) early if you wanted Row A seating.

Sweet cheers for that guys I'll do that. How early is early to get the good seats? What's a good time to start queuing?

Yeah i've done both Evanescence and Korn standing, and Steel Panther seating, the Steel Panther gig was by far one hell of a lot better for the view, we were right at the front in the middle tho so had awesome seats as we queued early. I was surprised at how many people still chose to stand upstairs at that gig and not use the seats.

9mins my arse. I finished completing the booking on Ticketweb at 9.05am and it told me they'd all sold out! Gonna join the scramble on Ticketmaster tomorrow. At least with TM they hold the tickets while you complete the page.
Coming Up: Journey/Whitesnake - Sheffield Megadeth - Manchester Download Festival Hellfest Bloodstock Y & T - York Alter Bridge - Manchester
