Hello - my name's Antony and i started www.metalgigs.co.uk just over a year ago for a bit of creative outlet for writing and gig photography, and also to help push and promote metal gigs in the UK.  It started off with just myself writing and shooting for the site, but a few more people have got on board, and are also helping with live reviews, and album reviews.  Traffic is starting to build quite considerably, we're in the thousands every week now, so if you're in a band it's definitely worth getting your own band page set up on it.  Just click on the bands tab, then on the create band link. Once i've approved it (to prevent spam) you can then add your gigs on.  Any (constructive) criticism is really appreciated for the site.  Promoters please get in touch, the more shows we know about the better the listings can be.
