Although we did not get through to the final in London, we did make it to the Manchester Academy Regional finals and played with some great bands.

NEXT: We're off to Glasgow to play Highway to Hell 2, to compete with some fantastic bands for the chance toplay Hard Roch Hell and Hammerfest.

SAVAGE OUTLAW are now in the semi finals of the Surface Festival, which is being held at Manchester Academy 3 in August 2011. Tickets will be available shortly.

The band are also in the finals for Highway 2 hell 2 held in Glasgow. 12 out of 26 bands will go through to play Hard Rock Hell and Hammerfest.

Twisted Romeo

Merseyside rockers Savage Outlaw are set to launch their debut single 'Twisted Romeo'.
Recorded at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, the anthemic song has been the backbone of every show since 2009. With Savage Outlaw taking influence from artists such as Nickelback and AC/DC it has always been popular with the masses. The song truly defines their style with crunching guitar riffs and unforgettable lyrics it's sure to have everyone singing along.

Savage Outlaw, from Merseyside formed in early 2009, they define their style as hard rock with a touch of blues. Often compared with artists such as Black Stone Cherry and Nickelback their shows are filled with passion and electricity. A common goal to create music is what brought this band together and their passion for what they do is equally matched by the passion of those whom watch the band live. Having played venues such as The Cavern and the 02 Academy in Liverpool as well as many other venues, the band keeps going from strength to strength gaining more fans with every show.

The official launch for the single will take place at their biggest show to date! The Surface Unsigned Festival Semi Final on the 30^th of July at The Zanzibar on Seel Street in Liverpool. They will be making various radio appearances, including a one hour special on Infernal Rock Radio, as well as dates in Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Wales and Wirral to promote the single.

Thanks to all the support that the band's fans have given them over the last year or so, SAVAGE OUTLAW have entered into their first really big competition and it starts tonight.

SAVAGE OUTLAW are playing The Surface Festival tonight, with the first round of the competition being at Bumper in Liverpool. Those of you who could not make it can still VOTE for them by TEXTING NORTH 2023 to 64343

SAVAGE OUTLAW will be taking part in 2 major competitions this year! The band impressed the judges at the *Live and Unsigned Auditions* at the Willows, Manchester last month. They are set to impress the judges plus the audience at the regional final on the 6th March.

The band are also taking part in the *Surface Festival* and are on to impress the crowd at BUMPER, LIVERPOOL in their regional final on the 26th March.
