My brother's following 2 NBA teams at the mo, OKC and Philly, so I'll no doubt be at this. Anybody else?

Stayed up and watched the Lakers last night (got to bed about 6am), really glad I did, Meeks was on a red hot streak, Howard was a beast and Jamison was just ridiculous. Kobe had a poor shooting game but his use of the ball was excellent. While Meeks was going off Miller was at SG getting a free ride in terms of cutting in with the ball for layups. Was also very funny watching the Nuggets fluff so many dunks and oops in the first half.

I've never been that high on Gallo TBH. I get why people are, and he's clearly talented, but I also cant help thinking there is a bit the Bargnani about him whenever I see him, in as much as the game comes a bit too easily to him.

Most of the Nuggets fans on Realgm want to flip him.

Think he's a really exciting prospect. Part of the reason why I like the Nuggets (along with the really entertaining series vs the Lakers in the post-season and the hope that Gallinari can make good on his potential consistently without injuries etc holding him back).

Have barely watched them this year though. Been watching the Grizzlies and the Cavs if anything other than the Lakers this year so far.

Eye catching hair styles aside, the Rodman comparison is pretty premature, as Faried is still really a help defender right now rather than the one to five defensive phenom that Dennis was, but his motor and athleticism are off the wall. Didn't have his best rebounding game against the Warriors, but still came away with 5 blocks (three of which where Lebronesque in transition)

Right now he's a more athletic version of Joakim with out the handles, but in time, he could be a real stud in this league.

The end of the Nuggets vs Warriors game is the best and worst examples of replays in overtime ever.

Its also a great showcase for the best young back court in the league in Thompson and Curry, and the baby Rodman that is Kenneth Faried.

Lakers still trying to find their balance. Chucked the win away yesterday, 20 missed FTs. But better defence meant it was still a close game.

Pau doesn't suit that offense at all really, as he has a slow release on his shot, and doesn't run the floor well. You look at all the guys around Amare and Nash in Pheonix, and they were all pick and pop guys,man defenders (or a hybrid of both) or guys who could run the floor (someone like Ibaka for example would be amazing in that system) so I don't expect him to be off the block for too long if the pimp hand can work something out.

Its going to be interesting how he handles it out there after the way he left New York. No one wants to be known as the coach who cant cut it in either of the biggest markets in ball.

Yeah, Smith would be ace. But that said, Gasol has looked refreshed with him and Kobe free to dictate the offence a bit more. Even picked up defensively.

D'Antoni runs the kind of offence Duhon clearly prefers as well, he's been effective off the PnRs and with Morris's pace brining his game through a bit recently Blake might be in trouble. If we could drop Ebanks - DUI an opportunity in disguise (would be a bit hypocritical killing his contract for that while Hill is around but, you know...)- and pick up a guy with some handling ability and a bit more pace (CDR?) we'd have a bench that could keep the offence rolling.

But I have heard that D'antoni runs a pretty shallow rotation, which would be dumb and was my main problem with Brown last season.
