If you bought combined pod pad and weekend arena ticket then Live Nation Experience send you your RIP passport and then you get everything (wristband, goody bag and souvenir ticket) from the Live Nation Experience check-in tent at the entrance to the RIP site.

all RIP tickets get posted (unless you order from/ live overseas) no need to pick up from the box office.

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and apologise if this has been covered before, (I have looked, I swear!)..... Could somebody please help me out? I already bought family camping tickets for myself and my other half but I am wondering if it's possible to upgrade these to RIP camping when they go back on sale? I wanted them when I bought our tickets but they had sold out, grrrrrr! I haven't recieved the tickets yet, obviously, and so I assume it would just be a matter of changing my order somehow? If this is possible, would somebody please be kind enough to let me know how to go about upgrading and how much extra, (roughly), this will cost me? Thanks in advance :)

No, RIP is pretty much all sold out already, only way RIP would go back on sale is if they found some extra space from packages that haven't sold well but just about everything has been sold at the minute.

Well that's that idea out of the window then, lol! Still, family was relatively civilised last year so i'm sure i'll be fine. The other half however..... It's his first time and he's not a huge fan of walking. I'm not saying a word. It'll be a nice surprise for him haha!! Thanks for the help :)

second post time, answers have a tendency to breed questions. I havent managed to find the answer to this, I have booked four camping "tickets" under my name for my party (wife, sis in law and her boyf). originally we were all able to arrive together for the wednesday in one car, nice and easy. Now though the other two can only arrive on the thursday with a second car. so question is, are they still entitled to their own car with their two "tickets"? (dont worry about the camping arrangements i have asked that elsewhere) I am figuring if it is easier to send their tickets (sorry passport) on to them or meet them at the gate, but just checking they could still drive onto site either way, or if it is one car per original booking and if they will need other arrangements. Thanks for the help

Welcome to RIP, I'm glad you've found most of the info you need. You'll be fine with two cars, even arriving separately. I think it's a good idea to give your friends their passports and to also let the Live Nation Experience staff know when you check in that two of your group are arriving the next day (I'd also give their names). If you want them to be camped with you then yes, take their tent too and pitch it with yours. I doubt they'll let you save a parking space for them - as Wendy has suggested they can park wherever the stewards direct them to in the camping fields (which will no doubt be a little distance from your tents).

Excellent, thank you for the responses, they are much appreciated, i had assumed this was the likely case, and really wasnt too worried about them parking near so long as they could get in with the rest of their gear. Anywhere closer than the slog of yesteryear from carpark to family camp was good enough! can't wait now!!

[font=""arial","sans-serif""]Hi [font=""arial","sans-serif""]I’m an RIP newbie and this thread is awesome! [font=""arial","sans-serif""]I feel this might have already been partially answered but for the sake of clarity… [font=""arial","sans-serif""]It looks like I’m coming up by coach on Wednesday but my mate will not be able to drive up until Friday evening/Saturday morning. [font=""arial","sans-serif""]I’m guessing I won’t be able to reserve a phantom car parking space next to the tent to await his arrival and he’ll have to park the car “somewhere else” on the RIP campsite for the duration… [font=""arial","sans-serif""]If so how far is this likely to be from the tent? [font=""arial","sans-serif""]Cheers!

You can ask the guys when pitching that you have a car coming but obviously by the tme he comes someone may have parked there.. try taking some tape and tape it off with a sign saying car parked here. If he does end up parking elsewhere it will literally be a few mins walk - it is not a big campsite.

Just a quick question regarding ticket web and the RIP tickets i ordered. Do they ever change the order status to show if it has been despatched in the same way that ticket master do? Mind is only showing the order details, but no status. Not been Rip before so i am not sure if it works differently with ticket web. Also, do they arrive recorded delivery? Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.
