Apparently people are saying we have two options for Tebow. Miami - Reggie Bush & 5th round pick. Jags - First round pick overall I think it was I heard.

loads of stuff has happened over night. Don't get why the Jets wanted Tebow but they got him fairly cheap. Alex Smith has re-signed with the 49ers as well so Miami are well and truly fucked Sean Payton suspended for all of this season without pay. Saints GM suspended for 8 games. Greg Williams suspended for this season and will have another review after the season to decide whether he's allowed to coach ever again. Saints as a team are fined 500k and are stripped of their 2nd round picks for 2012 and 2013

Saints got bitch-slapped, unfortunately so did the Rams by losing Williams indefinitely. And the Jets get Tebow.... HAHAHAHAHA Sanchez just got kicked in the balls

Is it like a touchline ban so he can still work through the week or is it a complete stay away? If it is a complete stay away do the Saints get a new man in? If he does well is Payton out of a job?

The Jets’ trade for Tim Tebow might have hit a snag, league sources told NFL Network’sMichael Lombardi. The Broncos are attempting to recoup $5 million paid out on Tebow’s original rookie contract, but money typically isn’t exchanged in this way in trades like this. No team would ever agree to a deal like this, because it would be too complicated, according to Lombardi. But, according to NFL.com’s Jeff Darlington, Broncos sources contend there’s no reason for the Jets to be able to back away from their decision to trade for Tebow. The Jets agreed to the trade, even announcing it on their official Twitter page, a source said. It’s their problem — not the Broncos’ — that the Jets failed to review the language of Tebow’s contract before agreeing to the trade. Several other teams, the sources contend, were unwilling to make the trade knowing they’d have to pay nearly $5 million to the Broncos, per the language of Tebow’s original contract. The fact that the Jets didn’t do this, a source says, isn’t the Broncos’ fault. Though the Jets announced the trade, a league source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora that no trade papers were filed with the NFL on this deal, so there never was a fully valid trade. Dialogue is ongoing between the Jets and Broncos, but from a legal standpoint, the trade never was registered with the NFL. The day that keeps on giving.

If they still push for him after this, Sanchez must be feeling pretty uncomfortable!

Saints got what they deserved, although I'd have suspended Mickey Loomis for the offseason+8 games.

I'm liking the targets we're picking up for Manning, god knows why the Texans let him go after sealing Mario you'd think they'd be building not destructive.

Tamapa Bay have released Tanard Jackson after failing a physical. I have a feeling his off the field issues probably didn't do him any favours with Schiano either. still it's not like we're spoilt for choice, our backfield was shocking while he was missing so i'd have given him one more try.

Trent Richardson is about to make one NFL team very happy in this month's draft. Before he does, he'll help one young woman's dream come true. In 2011, at age 16, Courtney Alvis of Hueytown, Ala., was diagnosed with leukemia. At the time, she wasn't sure what that meant. "I have heard of leukemia but I wanted to make sure that was cancer," Alvis told WSFA-TV in Montgomery. "So I was like, 'Are you telling me I have cancer?' and (the doctor) was like, 'It could be cancer." Her life took a jarring turn. Forced to avoid germs, Avila was forbidden from driving, attending class or hanging out with her friends. Her junior prom last spring was out of the question, unless she was willing to make adjustments: "I would have to wear a mask and rubber gloves and not touch anybody," she said, "and that wasn't for me." After a year of chemotherapy, Alvis is on the mend and has been granted permission to attend her senior prom. One problem: She didn't have a date. Her uncle stepped forward and used an Alabama connection to spread the word. Richardson heard about Alvis' situation and offered to escort her. "I'm really excited but I'm also nervous," Alvis said. "I've watched Trent all the time on TV, and he's going to be coming to prom with me." NFL teams invest countless hours examining the character of the men they plan to draft. In the case of Richardson, it appears we have our answer. what a guy

Usual early morning kickoff game, so chances are I'll miss it, which is a shame because our games against the Chargers are normally pretty good games. Overall, I think we have a decent shot at the play-offs (although a post-Davis draft could be interesting). Decent run in at the arse end of the season by the looks of things, so I'm confident about our season, overall.

First game against 49ers is a big one. A loss could really push our season in the wrong direction.
