the winner will be West this year, Kings/Blues I thought Vancouver, but they're out, somehow

Been on holiday for a week and just catching up. Can't believe NYR came back against Sens, I was sure we were high and dry. 1-1 v Caps, could be an interesting series. Very surprised Phoenix are 2-0 up, I thought Preds might make the final this year. I still think the winner will be from the East. Although I must say I do fancy Kings to go all the way based on their recent form.

Where's everyone gone? Amazing win for NYR alst night, really ground it out, played desperate and it worked, I am feeling really good about this team and this series now. Kings look so dominant, really think they could win the whole thing now, who'd have thunk it.

All our teams are out so we lost interest I want the Kings to win so i don't feel so bad about going out to them. At least we didn't get sweeped.

Yes I suppose it's only me left with interest - I must admit I would never, ever have predicted the conference finals line-ups as they are, even with one place still to be decided. The West frightens me I must admit - Kings and Yotes have come from nowhere and are playing devastatingly well. All the teams in the East have had much harder battles and are going to be exhausted by the time they get to the finals. Kings are my prediction to win overall. I desperately hope Rangers can finish off Caps tonight, we really do not need another Game 7.

Aye, Predators are out making my prediction a load of rubbish. Looking at going to New York next year and want to go to MSG so I'm now adopting NYR for the rest of the playoffs so that I can get behind them next April

YAY! New NYR fan! I too am thinking of going to NY, in autumn this year, going to get to as many games as I can. Love this team dearly. MSG sounded NUTS the other night when they scored with 6.6 seconds remaining and then when the OT winner went in!

Aye, I've got a friend who is a NYR fan, works a 9-5 job but stays up and watches EVERY game. It's dedication I could never achieve with Tampa (I get up at 6 for work). My FB feed was mental the morning after that game, she just exploded. Need to make sure I catch up on the highlights tonight actually. Also, I'm a temp NYR fan I will not be changing my avatar at all! Their new conference next year is pretty tasty, the one to watch imo, so there should be some cracking games all season. I'll probably be seeing a lot of the NYRs over next season.

Wow that is dedication - she does that all season?! I've been getting up pre-work for all the play-off games but couldn't stay up, it would kill me, I work a 9-5 as well. Yes defo catch up on the highlights of game 5. Give game 6 a miss. Total washout of a game, sucks. But they're giving their fans value for money I guess taking it to another game 7 (value for money, or high blood pressure issues, whichever). I'll probably to too drunk to stay up all of Saturday to watch but I'll be at the computer first thing to catch up. Can't wait. 3 days is too long. I'm going to go crazy when the season is over! An NY v NJ conference final would be something to look forward to.

I'd like to watch more live but supporting a West Coast team is a ****. Most Canucks games start at 3AM and finish between 5 and 5:30 AM. I usualy watch a weekend game live and the playoffs. Regular season games I may watch the first period then go to bed but mostly have to watch highlights on the Canucks website.

Aye, she stays up all season. It's mental! Not a clue how she gets through the days of less than 2 hours sleep! Gonna catch up on all the games the last few days now. Then watch game 7 live.

Watched Game 7 live, it was fantastic, knew we could do it, and I'm confident v Devils. We have momentum on our side, it'll take Brodeur a good two games or so to get his creaky old bones warmed up! And if that's not fighting talk I don't know what is. Yep I'm confident LA will win in the West, they are just on fire at the moment.

I'll keep this thread alive, goddammit I will!! I am rueing not putting money on LA now. About 2 games into their first series against Vancouver I had a feeling about them, and now look at them. You can't argue with the form they're in right now. We are making it hard on ourselves as per usual. Chris Kreider is looking great though, for a kid to come into the NHL at this time of year and make the impression he's made, it's awesome. Hank still a god for us. We need a big road win tomorrow.

Devastated about last night. Hurts way more to lose playing proper Ranger hockey and giving it everything than some of our other losses where we just haven't worked hard enough. So unlucky not to take it after coming back from 3-0 down. Just what we need to galvanise us for two wins on the bounce! Let's do this!
