- NEVER search, just post a new thread. For instance if there's 3 threads about an announcement on the main forum, two of which are closed with links to the actual announcement thread, still post a new one naming the bands that have been announced, people might miss the other two!

- ALWAYS overreact. Especially if it will derail the thread. For instance if somebody makes a vague aside about George W Bush in a thread about goldfish, you must immediatley defend Dubya and remind everybody he got better grades in school than John Kerry. Oh dont let the fact it's only relevant to things that happened 4 years ago stop you either.

- YOU are right, everybody else that disagrees with you is an ignorant walking stereotype, and you must attack them with personal insults based on that stereotype. It's even better if you can mix stereotypes - try and accuse somebody of having a "floppy fringe", "liking kerrang bands", "being a metal elitist" and "beating up people in the town centre on friday night", therefore cramming three teenage stereotypes into one insult. And all because somebody said they "probably won't" see Faith No More. Also accuse people of being "misguided", because your opinion is correct and thiers is just "midguided" because they haven't seen the obvious light and come over to your position, which is perfect.

Just before an announcement of bands is made, always list bands that'll make you 'cream'. BUT always add 'course it'll never happen' or 'I can dream'.

And then moan like a bitch when the announcement doesn't exactly mirror that list.
