I don't think we need to spend too much if I'm honest. A left back and Hoillet in, change of manager, all we need I think, although obviously that will depend on who we lose.

I don't want Cuellar to leave. Rather lose Collins or Dunne.

I'd have him down as the crowd favourite. Gutting.

Isn't Heskeys contract up? Also Cuellar has been our best winger this season too

Yeah that's why i said I hope he leaves. Really is no point in signing him up again we've got better options than him in te team.

Heskey has played better with Weimann than Gabby did, but it is time for him to leave no doubt.

Heskey and Fonz will go I reckon. Fonz just hasn't quite made it with us which is a shame.

Wounded about King Carlos. Such a shame to see him go. On the other hand, I'd happily see Heskey and The Fonz gone. No offence to either player, but for different reasons, neither is good enough for what we want. And if Bent HAS to go, I'd absolutely love an exchange with Bent for Carroll and a bit of cash. Carroll and Weimann would make an ace partnership for me, with Stevie Ireland floating around just in behind the two.
Pep If you finish above us, I'll eat my shoe and wear a Villa shirt for the entire season. That's how confident I am.

I reckon we need another Petrov style player, be it a first team or squad player. And I'd ideally like to see a new left back and center back. But the key question is, who could you see becoming the next manager? Realistically.

Would be hella risky, of course, but for some reason I see him being immense in a Villa shirt, were he ever to get the chance. He might have been a dissappointment at Liverpool, but he is still/will still be a class striker in my opinion. Kind of like a much better Peter Crouch, and Crouchy's not too bad a player. Also, Mcleish has said he fully expects to be in charge at the start of next season. While I'm sure that's what anyone would say in his position, it still scares me beyond words. The fact he's not already on the dole is worrying.

I think you could possibly tempt Brendan Rodgers to manage. Glenn Hoddle is looking for a way back into management as well so I hear. Simon Grayson would be a good shout. Not really short of options there. I think if Villa get through this season they'll have nothing to worry about. There'll be plenty of good bosman buys out there to pinch. Maynor Figueroa, Hugo Rodellega and a lot of others to name. Really all the team lacks at the moment is confidence and that is the managers fault.

I've heard reports he was told after the West brim game he wouldn't be in charge anymore. Obviously just rumours. No point sacking him now get the last game of the season out of the way and then just start again. Im actually looking forward to the summer now knowing we are safe, be interesting to see what we do now.

I'm overly optimistic for next season. I always am. But any shred of optimism will be taken away if Mcleish is still the man in charge. To be honest though, I really don't see how he could be? If we could get Brendan Rodgers from Swansea, that'd be ace. Not just because he's a good manager or whatever, but the way Swansea have played this season is exactly what us Villa fans would love to see. All out attacking, mixed in with massive amounts of skill and passing. Exciting football to watch. If that was how we had played this season, and we'd ended up where we were now from it, fans would be a lot less annoyed in my opinion.

Rodgers wouldn't leave methinks. The main candidates will probably be Lambert or Martinez.
