The Birmingham based, Aceldama, were formed with the ideology of producing songs that combine infectious, harmonious vocals with crushing, yet groove laden guitar riffs.

2009 saw the release of Aceldama’s debut album – ‘Seduce, Deceive & Lead Astray’ This 10 track release truly reveals the bands style, with heavy hard hitting melodic riffs, great underlying harmonies and a powerful vocal line calm.

Aceldama are earning quite a reputation in the Midlands and this has landed them with shows playing alongside bands such as Season’s End, Liquid Sky, NYA and Power Quest. In 2010 Aceldama have a busy year planned, with their sights set on building their reputation nationally, a new CD, and an appearance at Slovenia’s Metal Camp confirmed.

Anyone who has seen Aceldama live will understand what their live shows are all about. With an energetic performance, prominent audience interaction and a powerful stage presence, Aceldama is an act that won’t be forgotten easily.

Nah not in a band at the moment, I gave up after the last shambles (well, ok because of the the bass player and other guitarist!) to concentrate on family life. I'm not really missing it either to be honest!
All is well cheers, having a peaceful life at the moment LOL!

We'll be at Download and BOA as usual so I might see at them if you make them.
Good luck with the band mate, we'll hopefully see you again sooner rather than later

Huge thanks to everyone who came to the boardie takeover on thursday and supported us and the other 3 bands! Was an amazing crowd and we're so happy that you all seem to enjoy our set and partcipated in the songs :)
We've got a new E.P. nearly ready to go, and we'll hopefully be hitting lots of venues around the country in the later half of the year :)

An update for you all!

In October last year we took on a new drummer, Scott Denny. Since then we've been working hard on getting the long awaited new CD finished!
The good news is that it's finished, and it's sounding awesome. It's an EP and can be pre-ordered via our pledge music campaign, details of which can be found at www.aceldama.co.uk.

Got some gigs coming up :)
Firstly in Wolverhampton on the 25th May at the Slade Rooms (Tickets available on our website www.aceldama.co.uk)
Then we're at the Victoria Hotel in Stoke on the 27th. Free entry

We're supporting Swiss Femme Metal Band 'November 7' and Achilla at the Roadhouse in Birmingham on the 7th of June and The Swan in Evesham on the 8th. No confirmation on prices for these yet, but I'd expect it to be around £3 or free.

Then we are playing the Velvet Lounge in Worcester with up and coming Roadrunner metal band Revoker on the 29th June, tickets £5 and will be available on our website soon.

Then Manchester on the 23rd August at Grand Central. No details of this yet, but will update when I get some!

We're also about to shoot our first video, for a track of the new CD :)
