Someone Else first formed in 2001 starting out as a four piece band. Two of the original band members left to pursue other interests which resulted in decimating Someone Else. The last gig the band performed was in April 2003 at the Manchester Roadhouse which was a sell out night, after a few weeks the band went their separate ways and lost contact.
Dan Thornhill continued to write pop punk songs, developing an addictive Pop Punk sound. With his new material, Dan reformed the Band with two new members becoming a dedicated Punk three piece.
Graeme brought his own brand of writing to the band and him and Dan soon began to write, record and work towards gigging again.
Since the reform the band have played far and wide from humble Shrewsbury to the big cities of Manchester and Birmingham and show no sign of slowing down. The guys had a short break from gigging when they recruited new drummer Phill and new bassist David Middleton.
After spending the last 12 months touring the uk in support of their latest ep "It's all about the Johnson" Someone Else are currently writing material for their debut album which they are currently recording with Andy Taylor from Skylabs Studios.
