Huron were quickly signed up in 2008 by Rising Records and with their release of the debut album Cheyne Stoking came glowing reviews from the international music press with a KKKK review in Kerrang and 8/10 in RockSound respectively to name but a few.
In May 2009 Bruce Dickinson played a track from the album called Break Your Neck and talked about the album on his BBC6 radio show.
After a successful tour and debut festival appearances Huron went into the studio to start working on the second album Mary Celeste the album from start to finish took over 18 months to complete.
The band started to gain a reputation for their blistering live shows which lead to Huron headlining stage 3 of Hammerfest II in 2010 along with Devil Driver, Suicidal Tendencies, Skindred, Iced Earth and Orange Goblin.
With their new record company in Casket Records, a new press agent and new promotor Huron are hoping that 2011 will be their best to date. Online radio stations like Total Rock are starting to play tracks from the new album so the momentum is slowly building for Huron.
Its been a long tough road and its sure to get harder before it gets any better but when the dust settles Huron will be left standing where theyve always strived to be.
More recently the bookings for the Metal Gods Festival on December 9th 2011 and Hard Rock Hell V at Prestatyn, Wales December 1st-4th 2011 which is proving that Huron are on the right road to success.
