Looks like one of the Italian teams is pulling out of the Pro 12:

That's a shame, they weren't much good but it seemed to help raise rugby's profile in Italy.

Richie Rees & John Yapp signed for Edinburgh next season. The way Cardiff Blues are going, they'll be lucky to have a 22 man squad.

Also Stephan Jones to leave the Scarlets for Wasps.

Pshh, he's not playing, no reason to pull out of the tour!

        Hope he recovers soon though.

          Hey Guys.

I've got a saturday day ticket for download which means I will miss the Wales vs Australia game.  I'm planning to drive up to the festival early (from Reading) and wach the game in a pub/bar in the near by area.  Any suggestions of where? Does anyone know if there will be a venue in the festival itself that would shows sports?

          Kind regards
          Luc

Anyone been following the Junior World championships?

I was suprised to see Argentina go all the way to the Semi finals. Alas it's going to be a New Zealand v South Africa final.

Dissapointed for Wales too, they've got some cracking young players, particularly the flanker Luke Hamilton.

That's what I thought when I came back after a couple of months off the forums

Haven't really been keeping up to date with Rugby recently. Not even with Bradford Bulls. Only been to one game in past month or so.

Not looking good for Bradford is it?  Hopefully they'll find the cash from somewhere, although I fear they could be the first of several clubs to go under.

They really do a need a buyer within next 10 days. From what I've read they've only got enough cash to last until the Wigan game.

Good to see BATH!! making some transfers and changes to the set up after a disappointing season. Agulla is a great transfer!! On the league side of things I do hope that Bradford find money as sport teams are being affected by the poor economic downturn!

So do I. To think they used to be one of the best teams in Rugby League for a long team, and now they're in this situation.

Charlie Hodgson & Lee Mears have retired from international rugby:

Mears was always an 'also ran', but I feel for Hodgson.  Initially vilified for no other reason than not being Jonny Wilikinson, he's been consistently the best English fly half in the Premiership for a long time.  He has had some flaky games in a white shirt that is for sure, but he's also had some stunning games and has been far better than a certain Toby Flood for England in recent years.

Very impressed with what Bath have been doing in the off-season. Here's hoping for a better season and a challenge for a top 4 spot again.

Seems thing aren't improving for Bulls. Players were meant to have a meeting with Brendan Guilfoyle this morning, but looks like he didn't even turn up. Plus fixtures are meant to be going ahead, but they can't even get access to training facilities.

I know Mick Potter has been dismissed. Brian Noble I think might be taking over the coaching for free as well. What happened to the £500000 that was raised not to long ago?

Warrington lost aswell Friday so we are still top of the table.

Ended up not been enough. Think approximately a week later they announced they needed something along the lines of £1.2 million.

Not too sure if it's official yet with Noble. A mate text me saying it does seem likely, but seems like he's having second thoughts about it.

Was it Salford that Warrington lost against? I'm sure that's the other result I was shocked to see. As well as Bulls beating Wigan

Tomkins was being rested so it was a bye [:l] Not sure what McIlorum was doing punching Elma though. He seems to see the red mist alot recently. I do hope bradford find the funds though. I think Diskin is a bit hacked off over the lack of communication.

That's the main problem at the moment. It's not really the decisions that have been made recently, more the fact that there doesn't seem to be any communication between the bosses and the players.
