Thought the Northampton v Exeter game was great today. Just out of interest, is anyone else only getting half the running score box in the top left hand corner of the screen during Sky games?

Aye, it was a close run game in the end. Score seemed fine whilst I was watching it Sky did exactly the same thing this weekend - published they were going to be showing South African Currie cup games and then never bothered. So glad I can watch ESPN now.

Disappointing result against Northampton last night. Northampton were the better side, and our discipline was poor throughout the game. There were a few times I thought we could snatch the lead back towards the end but it was not to be. Hopefully this will just be a slight blip and we continue to build as the season goes on

Both games on ESPN and Sky yesterday were entertaining. Although Sarries/Tigers did begin to drag during the second half. The draw between Gloucester and Worcester was the best result for me as a Bath fan. And nothing better than a last second penalty to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Just watched the weekends highlights, I thought the ref in the Bath v Saints game had an absolute shocker. At least he was consistent, he made terrible decisions for both teams! The Sarries v Tigers game looked about as interesting as watching paint dry with some terrible kicking from England's two goal kickers. At least Quins put on a good show, and it was nice to see London Oxford Welsh get a win.

Pretty pleased with the win today against Sale. Would have been nice to get a bonus point, but a win is a win.

Aye. It looks as if Sale have hit a real slump. Pleased with the Northampton v Wasps result. Especially because the mate I watch the rugby with is a big Wasps fan. He's been giving me teddy ever since Newcastle went down last season, it was good to have some ammo to throw back at him.

Disappointed with the result although can't argue with it. If I'm honest, I'd say Gloucester were the better team for at least 50 mins of that match. I noticed Gary Gold having a bit of a moan at the end of the game to a match official, which seemed odd to be as the ref wasn't the best but didn't favour either team really - and Bath got away with a few things which should have been penalties (or in one case, a try). Still, 2 Amlin Cup games to look forward to next. Hopefully 2 good wins will come from those before we play Exeter at the end of the month

London Welsh seem to be doing far better than predicted, they could have won yesterday were it not for an appallingly incompetent display of refereeing by the RFU Referee Departments latest wonder-kid who's been pushed too high too early. Some surprising results this weekend though, didn't expect Saints & Quins to lose.

The RFU Referee Department are obsessed with pushing 'youth' to the top of the tree. Unfortunately most of these kids just aren't up to it, they have no game knowledge and no experience of making tough decisions in high pressure environments. A lot of very good referees aged over 30 have been discarded in the RFU's failed policy of youth.
