It's off as soon as I get home. I do not understand why anyone would want to keep it on any longer. It serves absolutely no purpose once the festival is over, why keep it on?

I think it's to relive good memories or something.
I just take mine off, wash it and put it in a photo album with all my old gig tickets.

Mine stunk of pot noodle and curry by the Sunday, glad to get the ****ing thing off as soon as I got home.

I take mine off soon as I get home and put it away its nice to have it for a reminder but I think its a tad unhygienic I think to keep them on. That said If people want to carry on wearing them who am I to say they shouldn't its all about personal preference. I would say to give it a good wash in soap and water and dry it properly with a hairdryer to stop it from smelling.

I keep mine on until they fall off naturally (which doesn't usually take much more than 8-10 months for me), I wear them just because it reminds me of my time at Download, also some of them look pretty decent and they don't particularly bother me so I have no real reason to take them off.
I've not noticed them smelling, I just generally give them a bit of a scrub when I'm in the shower.
